    Terry Allen is the head football coach at Missouri State. He was the head coach at the University of Kansas from 1997 to 2000, where he compiled a 20-33 record. He also served as the head coach of the University of Northern Iowa, where his 75-26 record, made him the winningest coach in Gateway Conference history. His teams won or shared the Gateway title in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996.

    Nyla Milleson is the women's basketball coach of the Bears of Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Milleson began her coaching career in 1989-90 as the head coach of Junction City High School, where she turned a struggling program into one of the top-ranked teams in the state of Kansas. In just her third season, she helped Junction City to a 19-6 record, leading the squad into the Kansas state Class 6A tournament in 1992.

    Robin Luke (born March 20, 1942, Los Angeles, California) is an American rockabilly singer. He has been enshrined in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Luke was living in Honolulu, Hawaii, attending Punahou School, in 1958 when he wrote and recorded a Billboard #5 hit with the song "Susie Darlin," a song named for his then five-year-old sister. He continued to record, but was unable to repeat his Top 10 success.

    John Philip Rheinecker (born May 29, 1979 in Belleville, Illinois) is a Major League Baseball player for the Texas Rangers. Prior to playing professional baseball, Rheinecker attended Belleville Area Community College and Southwest Missouri State. He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 2001. After signing with the A's, Rheinecker spent the next four seasons in the organization's farm system.

    Don Sinclair Davis, born August 4, 1942 in Aurora, Missouri, a town in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, is an American actor. Davis is best known for playing Major General/Lieutenant General George S. Hammond in the science fiction television series "Stargate SG-1" (1997-2004), and earlier for playing Major Garland Briggs on the television series "Twin Peaks" (1990-1991). In the TV show MacGyver, he was the stunt/photography double for Dana Elcar.

He graduated from Missouri State University (then Southwest Missouri State University) with a degree in Business Administration and owned an automobile dealership in Willow Springs. After serving as mayor of his native Willow Springs, Bailey was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 1972 and re-elected in 1974, 1976, and 1978.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1957.
