    Peter Howard Costello (born 14 August 1957), Australian politician, has been Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party since 1994, and Treasurer in the Australian government since 1996, making him the longest serving treasurer in Australian history.

  2. Tim Costello

    Tim Costello studied Law and Education at Monash University and is now CEO of Australia's largest aid and development organisations, World Vision. He is a leading spokesperson on issues relating to Australia's response to global poverty. He also continues to speak publicly about issues relating to social justice, social inclusion and strengthening communities. Mr Costello was ordained a Baptist Minister in 1986 and was elected as mayor of St Kilda in 1993.

  3. Simon Findlay Crean

    Simon Crean is the Minister for Trade and the member for Hotham (Victoria) in the Parliament of Australia. After graduating from Monash University, Mr Crean assumed several trade union leadership positions, including assistant general secretary and general secretary of the Federated Storemen and Packers Union of Australia from 1976-1985. In 1985, he was elected president of the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU), having been active in the organisation since 1981.

  14. John Bertrand

    John Edwin Bertrand <small>AM</small> (born December 20, 1946 in Melbourne, Victoria) is a yachtsman from Australia, who skippered "Australia II" to victory in the 1983 America's Cup, ending 132 years of American supremacy. Bertrand won the bronze medal in the Finn competition at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. He is a member of Royal Brighton Yacht Club in Melbourne Australia, and currently competes in the Etchells class boats.
