1. Spencer Eccles

    Spencer Fox Eccles (b. August 23, 1934, Ogden, Utah) is a prominent financier and philanthropist in Salt Lake City, Utah and chairman emeritus of the Intermountain Region of Wells Fargo Corporation. From 1982 to 2000 he was chairman and chief executive officer of First Security Corporation of Salt Lake City, which was, until its sale to Wells Fargo in 2000, the largest banking organization in the Mountain West measured by assets, deposits and market capitalization.

Here at Mountain States we strive to provide our customers with good quality service, at an affordable price. Mountain States Equine is owned and operated by Dr. Mary Capp and Greg Creager. We offer a wide arrange of services such as vet work, embryo tranfers, race training, breeding work, sale prep yearlings, and foal out babies.

  5. George Hull

    GEORGE HULL is a graduate cum laude with distinction in horticulture from The Ohio State University. He has a Bachelor’s degree in landscape horticulture and a Master of Science degree. George first came to the Phoenix area in 1972 where he worked with the Harper's and Greenworld. He worked 15 years with V & P Nurseries developing new cultivars such as the Chilopsis ‘Rio Salado’. He has been with MSWN since 1999 and is responsible for new plant introductions.

    Janet Rademacher Sales and Marketing Coach. From 1985 to 2001, Janet was the Marketing Director for Mountain States Wholesale Nursery. Janet is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. and M.S. in Ornamental Horticulture. Janet and her husband Bill share a home with Bo, their yellow lab.   8. Bart Worthington

    BART WORTHINGTON is the general manager for Mountain States Wholesale Nursery. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry with a background in all aspects of nursery management. He has worked at retail and wholesale nurseries and was a licensed landscape contractor. Bart is well known in the industry and was president of the Arizona Nursery Association and is on the board of ANAFUND, which raises scholarship and research money for Arizona Nursery Association.

  9. Julie Depoppe

    Julie DePoppe has been with the company since January of 2000. Julie is responsible for our accounts receivables at the nursery. Prior to coming to Mountain States, Julie worked for 15 years with Summerwinds Nursery, a retail garden center. She worked as cashier, greenhouse department head and store administrator. Julie is married and has three grown daughters, a grown step-daughter and step-son, and 4 grand children. Julie will be busy decorating a new house soon.

  10. Dan Goodspeed

    DAN GOODSPEED has been with Mountain States since 1995. His territory includes New Mexico, Texas. Dan attended the University of W isconsin-Stout, where he studied Hotel and Restaurant Management. He worked for several years for the Marriott Corporation as a Front Office Manager . Shortly after arriving in Phoenix, Dan decided to make a career change and is a self-taught horticulturist. He is our resident expert on plant materials for high altitude gardening.

  11. Jeff Grass

    Jeff Grass is the sales representative for the retail market in Arizona, and all sales in California. He is a graduate from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Horticulture and Nursery Operations. He has been with Mountain States since July of 2001, prior to coming here he worked at retail nurseries in Phoenix and Tucson, as well as landscaping.   12. Jean Cote

    Jean CotE started with Mountain States in May of 1992. Her sales area includes the landscape and golf course businesses in Arizona and all sales in Nevada. Jean is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. degree in Agriculture and an alumnus of Project Central, a rural leadership program.   13. Julie Armstrong

    Julie Armstrong Julie is our most recently appointed salesperson. She and her husband Jim have relocated to California where Julie will handle sales in the greater San Diego areas. Formerly our receptionist in the front office, she looks forward to stepping into her new sales position. She and her husband have two sons.   14. Heather Talabesky

    Heather Talabesky Heather is a familiar person to many of our customers as she worked as a customer service rep for Mountain States for three years prior to taking a brief sabbatical to work with Desierto Verde. Heather’s new responsibility will be as Landscape Architect Liaison. She will be working closely with design professionals throughout the southwest on product knowledge and coordinating educational seminars.

  15. Ron Gass

    Ron alewine w e refer to this Ron as Al in the nursery so that we can keep him and Ron Gass separate. Al is the production supervisor holding the magic wand over everything, getting it to grow and ready to go out the gate.

  16. Jim Latas
