Robert "Bob" Daisley (born February 13, 1950) is from Sydney, Australia. He is a legendary hard rock bass guitar playing musician and lyricist who has performed in genres from heavy metal to rock and roll and the blues. He helped to revolutionise bass playing, incorporating a six-string bass guitar and using the "sweep picking" technique to play three octave arpeggios in lightning-fast succession.
