Dean Kemp (born February 17, 1969) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League. He made his debut in 1990 and won Rookie of the year for West Coast. In 1992 he played in West Coast's Premiership team and earned All-Australian selection as well as West Coast's best and fairest award. In 1994 he played in the sides second premiership team and won the Norm Smith Medal for best on ground.

Shannon Grant (born April 19 1977) is an Australian rules footballer who is known as one of the premier midfielders in the AFL. He began his career at the Sydney Swans in 1995 before moving to the Kangaroos in 1998 and being a part of their 1999 premiership side. He has recently signed a 3 year deal with the Kangaroos. In the 2005 season, Shannon Grant was involved in numerous comeback victories by the Kangaroos.

Regarded as one of the great players of his era, Rioli was one of the first aboriginal footballers to have a significant impact on Victorian football and was named in the centre for the Indigenous Team of the Century.

Peter Matera (born April 3, 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer for the West Coast Eagles in the AFL. Matera is widely regarded as the finest wingman of his generation and one of the best wingmen of all time. His remarkable skills and ability to seemingly make something out of nothing made him one of the truly elite players of the 1990s. Matera is nicknamed 'Roo', dubbed so by team mate Chris Lewis due to his supposed Kangaroo like appearance.

Shaun Hart (born 17 May 1971) is a three-time Australian Football League premiership-winning utility player for the Brisbane Lions. He was born in Ferntree Gully, Victoria and was recruited to the Brisbane Bears from Shepparton United Football Club in the 1989 national AFL draft, playing his first senior game in the first match of the 1990 season. He initially struggled with the demands of professional football and played a great deal of football in reserve grade.

Simon Madden (born December 30 1957) was an Australian rules footballer for the Essendon Bombers from 1974 until 1992. He was also president of the "AFL Players Association" from 1985 until 1989. Simon Madden was one of the greatest ruckman to play the game, and certainly the most durable. In all he played 378 senior matches, the most by any Essendon player, and third most league history (Behind Michael Tuck and Kevin Bartlett).

Paul Dear (born December 28 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Hawthorn. A half forward flanker, Dear made his debut in the 1987 season and played in that year's Grand Final. He filled in for the unavailable Jason Dunstall at full forward but ended up on the losing side. Fours years later he got his premiership medalion, helping Hawthorn defeat West Coast with two goals and the Norm Smith Medal.

David Rhys-Jones (born June 16, 1962) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Carlton Football Club and the Sydney Swans. The highlight of his 182 game career was winning the Norm Smith Medal as best on ground in Carlton's 1987 Grand Final victory. He began his career with Sydney in 1980 and moved south to Carlton five years later which whom he played until 1992.

Wearing guernsy number 11 and nicknamed the "Flying Doormat" due to the matted appearance of the constantly disarranged long portions of his extreme "comb over" hairstyle, Doull was possibly the most popular player to play for Carlton, along with Alex Jesaulenko and Stephen Silvagni.

A hard running player, Robertson was a versitile footballer who could play across half back, on wing or on the ball. He was recruited to Hawthorn from Wynyard in 1980 and became a key part of the club's dominance during the following decade.

Bill Duckworth (born February 21, 1959) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the AFL. He is best known for winning the 1984 Norm Smith Medal. His brother John also played league football. Duckworth appeared 35 times for the West Perth Falcons before being recruited by Essendon in 1982. He played as an aggressive defender, often seen at the fullback position.
