- Nick Lower
Nick Lower (born 23 June, 1987) is an Australian rules football player in the Australian Football League. Nick Lower plays on the half back flank but has the versatility to be an on-baller as well. He is noted for his pace, competitiveness and strength. He played for SANFL club Norwood in 2005. He was selected at number 30 in the 2005 NAB AFL Draft to Port Power from Norwood. He attended South Australian private school Prince Alfred College with twin brother Ed Lower.<br>

Kris Massie (born May 30 1980 in Sweden) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Massie was recruited to the Carlton Football Club in the 1997 AFL Draft and won a Rising Star nomination in his first AFL season (1998) after debuting less than two weeks before his 18th birthday. As a utility player, Massie failed to live up to his top 10 draft pick status, however, and only managed 43 games in 4 seasons at Carlton before being traded.

- Walter Scott
Walter "Wacka" or "Wat" Scott was a former Australian rules footballer in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) in the early 20th century. Scott was a high marking defender who had a large influence during a very successful part of the Norwood Football Club's history. Playing his early football in the Adelaide Hills, in 1920 Scott was lured to play in Adelaide as a result of his employment.

William Gerald Minson (born 11 April 1985 in South Australia) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Minson grew up in Norwood, South Australia and played football with the Norwood Football Club up until the under 18's. He was a student at the exclusive St Peter's College, Adelaide, where he played the majority of his junior football. The Western Bulldogs recruited Minson in the 2002 AFL Draft, at pick number 20.
- Jared Crouch
Jared Crouch is a South Australian Australian football player with the Sydney Swans of the AFL, who is colloquially known as “Crouchie” to Swans fans and media. Having played for Norwood in the SANFL, he was selected by Sydney in the first round of the 1995 National Draft. He did not make his senior debut until 1998, when he was called up to play against Collingwood in round 7, having been originally selected as an emergency for that match.

Ed Lower (born 23 June, 1987) is an Australian rules football player in the Australian Football League. Ed Lower is a defender, regarded as medium-sized, who attacks the ball with speed and agility. He played for SANFL club Norwood in 2005. He was picked in the first round of the 2005 NAB AFL Rookie Draft at pick number 10 overall by the Kangaroos. He attended South Australian private school Prince Alfred College with twin brother Nick Lower.

Anthony "Tony" Francis (born 1 April 1969 in South Australia) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Francis attended Campbelltown High School and first played senior football in the SANFL with the Norwood Football Club, debuting in 1988. After two seasons with the club, he was recruited by AFL side Collingwood, where he made his debut in 1990.
- Nick Smith
Nicholas "Nick" Smith (born August 27, 1984) is an Australian rules footballer with the Box Hill Hawks of the Victorian Football League, formerly with the AFL's Melbourne Football Club. Recruited from the Norwood Football Club in the 2002 AFL Draft, Smith debuted in 2003 for Melbourne, playing 3 games for the season and having little game time or impact. In 2005, Smith started in the VFL with Sandringham but suffered a knee injury which ended his season prematurely.
- Simon Eastaugh
Simon Eastaugh (born June 12, 1973) is an Australian rules footballer who mainly played as a ruckman. He played for both the Essendon Football Club and the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL, as well as Norwood Football Club in the SANFL and both South Fremantle and East Fremantle in the WAFL. He is the current coach of the Perth Football Club in the WAFL.

Cleve Hughes (born January 15, 1987) is an Australian rules football player in the Australian Football League, who plays for the Richmond Football Club. Hughes was drafted from Norwood (SA) by Richmond in the 2005 National Draft using pick 24.
- Peter Rohde
Peter Rohde (born November 19, 1964) came from the Bendigo Region and spent his playing days in the mid 1980's to mid 1990's with Carlton FC and Melbourne FC. Later he would achieve success with Norwood in the South Australian National Football League as a coach, ultimately leading to his appointment as an assistant coach at the Western Bulldogs.
- John Daly
John "Bunny" Daly was a former Australian rules footballer prominent in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) during it's developmental years between 1887 and 1903. Daly played his first match for Norwood as a 17 year old in 1887, in a holiday exhibition match against Port Adelaide. In front of 15,000 spectators the debutant displayed an exciting running, dodging type of game for which he would become famous.
- Haydn Bunton Jr
Haydn Bunton Junior (born April 5, 1937 in Melbourne) was a famous player and coach of Australian rules football. He became the youngest ever coach in a major league of Australian rules, when he was appointed coach of Norwood Football Club in 1957. Bunton was regarded as a tough and skilful player and was a very successful coach in both the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL) and South Australian National Football League (SANFL).
- Aaron Keating
Aaron Keating (born May 24, 1974) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League. Keating played in a Premiership for Adelaide in just his third match. A week later, he played in a Premiership for his SANFL club Norwood. Keating's brother Clark is a former AFL player with the Brisbane Lions.

Michael 'Mick' Nunan is a former Australian rules football player who played one match in the VFL for the Richmond Football Club in 1971. - Adam Heuskes
Adam Heuskes (born March 20, 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League most remembered for his flamboyance. Recruited from SANFL club Norwood, Heuskes made his AFL debut in 1994 with the Sydney Swans and immediately attracted attention in the media and the football world for his outrageous hairstylings. He was traded to the Port Adelaide Power in 1997, a decision which the Swans later regretted.

Allan "Buster" Crabb (born May 24, 1923, died February 11, 1982) was an Australian rules footballer best known for his playing career with Glenelg, SANFL, in the 1940s and 1950s. Crabb was a left-foot ruckman who debuted with the war-time combined West Adelaide-Glenelg side in 1942, and played out his career from 1945-1956 with Glenelg. In the process he became one of the most popular and respected footballers in the State.
