George Washington was a central and critical figure in the founding of the United States, and is commonly referred to as father of the nation. He led America's Continental Army to victory over Britain in the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783), and in 1789 was elected the first President of the United States of America. He served two four-year terms from 1789 to 1797, winning reelection in 1792.

Gary Burbank (born Billy Purser, July 1941, in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American radio personality. He currently appears on WLW-AM in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he has hosted the station's afternoon drive time programming for more than two decades.

Reasin Beall (December 3, 1769 Montgomery County, Maryland-February 20, 1843 Wooster, Ohio): Ohio Congressman and Militia General during the War of 1812.

Jane Louise Curry, born September 24, 1932 in East Liverpool, Ohio, is a prolific writer of adventure, fantasy, mystery, time travel, and American Indian tales for older children and teenagers. Her novels include the famous ‘Abaloc’ series, set in the magical landscape of the Ohio Valley and surrounding regions in contemporary, medieval, and prehistoric times.

Enter Elementary School Band: I played the drum set with the elementary school orchestra. My favorite song was "King of the Road." I enjoyed big band music because my drum teacher played big band. He had me studying those kinds of drums. His name is George Lewber. George taught percussion and drums at the original Hauer Music School. I studied with George for about three years.
