- Zhang Ning
Zhang Ning (born 19 May 1975 in Shenyang, Liaoning province) is a female badminton player from the People's Republic of China. Zhang played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics for China. In women's singles, she defeated Marina Andrievskaya of Sweden and Kelly Morgan of Great Britain in the first two rounds. In the quarterfinals, Zhang beat Wang Chen of Hong Kong 9-11, 11-6, 11-7 to advance to the semifinals. There, she defeated countrywoman Zhou Mi 11-6, 11-4.

Gong Zhichao is a female badminton player from the People's Republic of China. In 1998, she got the sliver in Women's Singles of Badminton Tournament in Bangkok Asian Games, by losing to Kanako Yonekura of Japan in the final. In 2000, she won the gold in Women's Singles of Badminton Tournament in Sydney Olympic Games, by defeating Camilla Martin of Denmark in the final. However, her victory in the semifinal was not a fair play.
