Phil Greer is a founding partner of Opus Capital. Phil brings 35 years of venture capital investing experience to Opus Capital, having been a founding partner of Weiss, Peck & Greer in 1971, and having provided continuity of leadership of the firm since that time. Phil was an early investor and has been a director of Federal Express Corporation since 1974 where he currently serves as Chairman of the company's Compensation Committee.

Carl Showalter is a founding partner of Opus Capital investing in Internet and data communications startups. Previously, Carl was a General Partner with Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Ken Elefant is a founding partner of Opus Capital focusing primarily on internet and software investments. Ken serves on the board of Wirefree Partners and Royalty Services and was involved with several prior investments including Virsa Systems (NYSE: SAP) and Riverbed Technology (Nasdaq: RVBD). Previously, Ken was a Senior Associate at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Prior to this, Ken was a Senior Associate and Kauffman Fellow at Battery Ventures.

SACHIN MAHESHWARI | Senior Associate sachin@opuscapital.com As a senior associate for Opus Capital, Sachin Maheshwari works with the investment team on sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities. Sachin brings both engineering and business expertise to Opus. He has worked as a software engineer for both EFI, Inc., and for Unimobile, an enterprise wireless startup acquired by EFI.

Dan served as an officer in the Israel Defense Force during the years 1984-1989. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, where he graduated summa cum laude .

Dan Phelps is a General Partner of Opus Capital leading investments in both established services companies as well as early stage companies. Previously, Dan was a Partner and founding member of Duchossois Technology Partners (DTEC), an early stage venture capital firm, where he focused primarily on networking software and system investments. While at DTEC, Dan led investments in Infoblox, Intellon, Mobilitec (acquired by Lucent), NetNearU, NextHop and Personeta.

Prior to helping found Opus Capital, Ron Hoffner was CFO of Robeco USA (formerly Weiss, Peck & Greer) for 15 years.

John was President, CEO and Chairman of Vantive Corporation, a Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners investment that went public prior to its acquisition by PeopleSoft (now Oracle Corporation). Previously, John was Senior Vice President of the International Division at Oracle, where he had worked since its early stages.

Martin F. Oppenheimer, born 8/24/48, holds a B.A. degree from Yale University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
