I love Hawaii. I am originally from Portland, Oregon though was raised traveling everywhere- from Mexico to Saudi Arabia. I love life. I love everything. (if everything is sacred, nothing is sacred) For those of you who don't know me, mostly I keep myself busy by playing guitar, writing, doing research, hanging at dive bars, surfing, writing, film, writing, photography... NW transplant in NE trying to wrap my head around the world of modern medicine. Heads don't wrap easily. One of these days I'll rid myself of scholarly pursuits and resume a life devoted more consistently to music, books, chef-ing, and traveling. In the meantime, am enjoying time on an orange street and riding a red bike with yellow handlebars.

  12. Angela Dang

I'm just the average CC student. I love the outdoors and nothing pleases me more than sleeping under a clear, stary sky. Portland (OR) is the best city ever! One of my favorite things to do there is roam around downtown with my camera.

  13. Michael Doleman

  14. Renee

Finally made the move to Portland...and I'm loving it! I'm an OB/GYN resident at OHSU and really passionate about it.

  15. Elton White

Hmmm...where do I begin. I am basically an old kid. I may be in my 30s but I sure don't act or feel like it. I enjoy watching animated shows (cartoons), playing Nintendo, listening to music, long walks on the beach, gazing into somebody's...oh wait...this isn't a personals ad. What I am into is whatever it is at the moment. I like to go to the gym and be fit. I am not a gym body or a muscle man, but I do like to watch my figure.

I'm a pretty chill dude. I've lived in portland oregon for about the last 5 years. I'm very active in local polictics, as well as my union AFSCME local 328. I play guitar and sing in a band called the Joe Hill Messangers. (MP3's to follow soon) I love reading good books, watching interesting films, and creating art. I'm a member of speaking group called toast masters, and sooner or later I'll get my butt back into college to finish my political science degree.

  18. Tony

So... I grew up in Sacramento, CA but have moved around since. I like: Reading, my dogs, playing and listening to music, food, playing bass, meeting new people, exploring. I'm done with school for now (bachelor's degree), but there will be more to follow. A cynic by nature, I routinely mispronounce local slang to encourage a harsher view of the outside world.I am hoping to one day contribute to that huge mass of unbelievably dry research in neuropsychology.

I'm a true west coast person so yes, i do love the outdoors but please don't take away my starbucks and borders. I've been in the bay area for about a year now and I love it. Work hard play hard!! it's the way to go! Although being a ture NW person I do miss a lot of the outdoors and of course that fresh smell right after it rains. I will say though, having all this sun beats it hands down. So enjoy life, it's the only one we have.

I am enjoying my time in suburbia with a huge house to decorate but it is too big and lonely! So I invite all my friends to make the trip out to the beautiful Northwest and keep me company. I am having fun in my new job at Salmon Creek Hospital.
