1. Jim Wilson

    James George "Jim" Wilson (born December 29, 1960 in Corvallis, Oregon) is a retired Major League Baseball player. He played as first baseman and as a designated hitter. He was drafted out of Oregon State University by the Cleveland Indians in the 2nd round of the 1982 amateur draft, and played for the Indians in 1985. He later signed as a free agent with the Seattle Mariners on March 1, 1988, playing for them in the 1989 season.

He was initially an outfielder and third baseman, but found a niche as a utility player. He played 9 seasons in the majors, from 1985 to 1993, during which he was released a number of times. After his retirement, he became a television baseball commentator.

  4. Jonah Nickerson

    Jonah Nickerson (born March 9 1985 in Casper, Wyoming) is a pitcher for the 2006 College World Series-winning Oregon State Beavers, and the Most Outstanding Player in that tournament. A 6'1", 190 lb right-hander, Nickerson posted a record of 13-4 during the 2006 season, including 3 games (2 victories and one no-decision) during the College World Series; one of them, a victory against Rice University which qualified the Beavers for the Finals, came on only two days rest.

    Edward Wesley Schulmerich (born August 21, 1901 in Hillsboro, Oregon - June 26, 1985 in Corvallis, Oregon) was a Major League Baseball outfielder who played from 1931-1934 for three teams. He played for Oregon State University in college. Wes is a inductee of the Oregon State University Hall of Fame and was the first person to play in the Major Leagues from the school. He was buried at Valley Memorial Park in Hillsboro.

  7. Bob Beall

    Robert Brooks Beall is a former professional baseball player who played Major League Baseball for the Atlanta Braves in 1975, 1977–1979 and for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1980. Beall was drafted in the 28th round of the 1970 amateur draft after playing for Oregon State University in college, and played in 148 career games over four seasons. Beall graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1966 where he won a state championship his senior year.

Canham was on both the 2006 and 2007 OSU teams which won back to back NCAA Baseball National Championships at the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as the 2005 team which made it to there and lost in two games.
