    Candy Loving (born Candis Loving on September 4, 1956 in Oswego, Kansas) is an American model. In addition to her Bond girlesque name, she is notable for her prodigious breasts and wide intermammary sulcus. She was "Playboy" magazine's Playmate of the Month for the January 1979 issue, which made her "Playboy's" 25th Anniversary Playmate. Her centerfold was photographed by Dwight Hooker.

  2. Steve Heller

    Steve Heller, Award-winning author of "The Automotive History of Lucky Kellerman" Grew up near Yukon, Oklahoma. B.A. in English and M.S. in English Education from Oklahoma State University. Began teaching as an English instructor at Ponca City High School. In 1990 he received the Kansas Literary Artists Fellowship in Fiction, and in 1996 the Kansas Governor's Arts Award.

  3. Andy Stewart

    Andy Stewart , serves as Director of Music Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Ponca City . Andy was born and raised in Ponca City , graduating from Ponca City High School in 1997. At Ponca City High School he was Trombone section leader and Drum Major of the PO-HI band, a member of the Symphonic Orchestra, Tenor section leader in Chorale, and a two year All-State Chorus member.

  4. Cathie Gilliland

    Cathie Gilliland , the Children's Director , joined the First United Methodist Church staff in June of 2002. Cathie graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She began teaching at Kids Special Time, a Mother’s Day out program, in the Fall of 1986, became the director in 1989, and served in that position until 1996. She made the change to Children’s Ministry in 1997 and has been enjoying this work ever since.

  5. Alan Hager

    Alan Hager Alan graduated from Ponca City High School in 1989. He has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America since 1996. In 2002, Alan was recognized as the “Assistant Golf Professional of the Year” by his peers in the South Central Section (Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas) of the PGA.

    Sandy Hudack, Panhellenic representative, gave the report on the successful Christmas House Tour. She also announced that applications have been sent to area high schools for the Panhellenic Scholarship. A party will be held in the spring to distribute rush information forms to Senior girls. Julie Lawrence announced the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Gamma Epsilon Chapter to be held March 8 in Stillwater.

  13. Thelma Garrett Sprunger

    Thelma was saved at the age of 13 and was later baptized and joined the First Baptist Church of Ponca City. Upon returning from Texas, they helped establish the Ranch Drive Baptist Church and attended there until they moved to their farm east of town on the Kaw City Road, at which time they moved their membership to Longwood Baptist Church where she attended for 28 years. Chris passed away in October 1963.

  14. Cindy Wigley

    Cindy Wigley is the outstanding woman of the year for Soroptimist International of Ponca City and was presented by Kathy Tippin. She has been a member of Soroptimist for three years and is the incoming president, and is Chairman of the Growth and Development Committee and in the past was Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee. Cindy graduated from Ponca City High School and received her BS from Oklahoma State University in business.

  15. Dan Gilliam

    Gilliam is employed at Conoco as Manager, Finance - Ponca City. At Conoco, Gilliam is responsible for the overall coordination of finance activities for the Conoco Ponca City site with direct responsibility for Upstream accounting. A graduate of Ponca City High School , Gilliam grew up in Ponca City and received a bachelor of science degree with a major in accounting from Oklahoma State University.

  16. Doris Mildred C. Gough

    Mildred was born Oct. 6, 1912. in Britton, the daughter of O.P. Callahan and Myrtle (Edwards) Callahan. Her parents were longtime residents of Ponca City. Her father served as mayor of Ponca City and worked for Marland Oil Company, and her mother ran a kindergarten. After graduating from Ponca City High School, Mildred attended Oklahoma State University.

  17. Helen Joy Bookout

    Mrs. Bookout was born Sept. 12, 1918, in Ponca City to J. Henry and Doris Anna (Heinze) Buser. She graduated from Ponca City High School in 1936, and later attended business college. She married Eugene Hope Bookout in September 1939, in Ponca City. He preceded her in death July 18, 1985. She had been employed as a Southwestern Bell supervisor, retiring in 1977, after 24 years of service. A portion of her career with Southwestern Bell was in California.

  18. Miranda Lynn Hill

    Miss Hill is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Colby Jr. of Ponca City and the late Marty Hill. Jensen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Raabe of Ponca City and Dan Jensen of Illinois. The future bride is a 1995 graduate of Ponca City High School and is currently attending Northern Oklahoma College where she will graduate in May. She is a Customer Service Agent at Sykes Enterprises and plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and major in Speech Pathology.

  19. Verna M. Peterson

    Verna accomplished many things in her lifetime. Not only did she make a loving home, but she was employed as personal secretary to Fred G. Fellows and later to James T. Cheek for many years. The family friendships continued long after retirement. Always energetic, Verna continued working as owner of the Aquatic Pro Shop and the Paperback Alley used book store in 1980.

  20. Kathy Adams

    Kathy Adams was presented by Dr. Don Soberg as the outstanding woman of the year for Rotary. He said her dedication to "building a better tomorrow for all members of Ponca City Rotary has significantly improved the organization." She has been instrumental in the Brick Laying Project for Ponca City located in the square in front of the Ponca City Building, helped organize and coordinate the Festival of Angels held each Christmas in Ponca City.

  21. Perry L. Ealick

    Perry was born on Jan. 24, 1937, in Ponca City to Adah (Arft) Ealick Faubion and Harold Ealick. He attended school in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School. Perry was later selected to attend the U.S. Naval Academy. After graduation from the academy he went on to serve in the United States Navy for four years. He was later employed as a communication engineer for NASA in Houston, Texas.

  22. Terri Hadley

    Terri Hadley was selected as the outstanding woman of the year by ProTeens Grand Central Station and was presented by Jan Merrifield. Terri has been Finance Chairman of ProTeens Grand Central Station for 14 years. A graduate from Ponca City High School and Oklahoma State University, she and her husband, Paul, have one child, Lauren. Terri is a CPR and a partner of Baskin, Hadley and Associates.

  23. Keith Lessert

    Keith is a former Ponca Citian and graduate of Ponca City High School with the Class of 1992. He later attended Oklahoma Baptist University where he graduated in 1997 with a degree in Youth Ministry/Church Recreation. It was while at OBU that he discovered the joy he found in singing to, and for Jesus. Many friends at OBU encouraged him to sing at various events and he rapidly developed his talents.

  24. Amy Rutherford Engaged

    Miss Rutherford is a 1994 graduate of Ponca City High School and has attended the University of Oklahoma. She will receive an associates degree in Business Administration from Northern Oklahoma College this Spring and plans to attend Oklahoma State University in the fall.

  25. Travis Pardee

    Travis Pardee , 1995 graduate of Ponca City High School, was recently awarded the "Presidential Award for Outstanding Performance and Excellence in Executive Office" by the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at Wichita State University. In his freshman year, Travis was selected "Outstanding Pledge" by Phi Delta Theta. He is the son of Tom and Connie Pardee.

  26. Elayne Colclasure

    Elayne Colclasure was born Sept. , 3, 1926 in Cordell to Ralph Frank "Bick" and Esther "Skeeter" Colclasure. She moved with her family to Ponca City in 1941, where she attended schools graduated from Ponca City High School. She was employed at Sanders Photography Studio in the mid 1940s. In 1948, she was married to Ted Dale Ellis.

  27. Elisabeth Heslip

    Miss Heslip, a graduate of Ponca City High School, is attending Oklahoma City University, majoring in music education. The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Del City High School and is also majoring in music education at OCU.

  28. Cameron Kekahbah Presenting Piano Perf Arkansas

    Cameron Kekahbah Presenting Piano Performance in Arkansas Cameron Kekahbah will give his final piano performance at the University of Arkansas today. Cameron is a 1993 graduate of Ponca City High School. The program will include Handel "Air and Variations from Suite No. 5 in E Major"; Chopin "Etude in F Minor, Op. 25 No. 2"; "Etude in A Flat Major, Op. 25 No. 1"; "Etude in C Minor, Op.

    Miss Williams is a May graduate of Ponca City High School and is employed with Quality Pools and Spas. Parton is a graduate of PCHS and has attended the University of Central Oklahoma. He is employed with Phil Parton Electrical.

  30. Helen A. Landon

    Helen Landon was born Feb. 27, 1921, in Ponca City, the daughter of Calvin and Ethel (Summers) Cook. She grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School. She also attended Pioneer Vo-Tech. She was employed with the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in housekeeping for 28 years. Landon attended Northeast Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, and writing poetry.

  31. Robert Hwang

    Robert Hwang , a student at Ponca City High School, has been awarded an $850 scholarship to attend the prestigious Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. The scholarship, from Bank of Oklahoma and the Betty E. and George B. Kaiser Foundation, was presented recently by L. J. Chaufty, president of BOK-Ponca City.

  32. Geneva K. Rippee

    Geneva K. Rippee was born Oct. 12, 1930, at Hartsville, Mo. , the daughter of Troy and Venus Rippee. She was a graduate of Ponca City High School. She was married to Leonard James Hand on Dec. 23, 1948, in Ponca City. Mr. Hand preceded her in death on June 20, 1958. She married Dewey Joe Gildhouse on Nov. 11, 1961, in Ponca City. Mr. Gildhouse preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1995.

  33. Lewis H. Paden

    Mr. Paden was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Ponca City, to Elmer Elwood and Emma Ellen (Wymore) Paden. He grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School. Following graduation, he began a career with Conoco.

  34. Julianne Stokke

    Julianne Stokke , a 1994 graduate of Ponca City High School, was among 39 students inducted into Wichita State University's circle of Omicron Delta Kappa on Nov. 3, 1996 in Wichita, Ks. Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership society. Stokke, daughter of Victoria and Olaf Stokke of Ponca City, is a junior majoring in music performance.

  35. Mike Bird

    Mike Bird is a native of Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School. After military service he went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Lawton and graduated with a business management degree from Cameron University in Lawton.

  36. John Hatlelid

    John Hatlelid is a 1966 graduate of Ponca City High School and a 1970 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He retired from the USAF after 20 years service and has been employed at Motorola for six years.

  37. Stanford Lynn Osborne

    Stanford Lynn Osborne was born June 2, 1916, in Springtown, Ark. , and one of nine children. He later moved to Sand Springs and then to Ponca City where he graduated from Ponca City High School in 1936.

  38. Kristin Kay Maddox

    Miss Maddox, a 1995 graduate of Ponca City High School, is currently attending Ouachita Baptist University, with a double major in vocal performance and choral music education.
