- Humphrey Tonkin
Humphrey R. Tonkin is professor of English, president emeritus of the University of Hartford in Connecticut, and a dedicated Esperantist. Born in Truro, UK, Tonkin is a dual citizen of the U.K. and the U.S. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cambridge University and his PhD from Harvard University. His academic specialities include the English Renaissance and Edmund Spenser, as well as language use and international languages. - Robert Washburn
Robert Washburn (born 1928) is a composer and educator. Washburn is Dean (education) and Professor Emeritus and Senior Fellow in Music at the Crane School of Music of the State University of New York at Potsdam. After completing his undergraduate studies at Potsdam he was awarded a Danforth Foundation Fellowship to complete a Ph.D. in Musical composition at the Eastman School of Music where he studied under Howard Hanson, Bernard Rogers and Alan Hovhaness. - David A. Greg was Director of Products for Paragraph International, Inc. a subsidiary of Silicon Graphics. - Mick Maguire
Mick Maguire has worn many hats during his tenure at Clarkson, which began in the late 1980s. Entering his 21st year with the University’s Athletic Department, Maguire was named Clarkson’s Aquatics Director and swim coach in 1987 and has guided the Golden Knights swim teams to continued success in league and regional competition. In 2005, Maguire's tutelage helped guide Matt Szrama to the NCAA Championships, the first Clarkson swimmer to reach the NCAAs in eight years. - Shawn Kirkham
Shawn is the current President and Marketing Director for the Alamance Jazz Band, and has developed this web site for the band. His daytime job consists of being an Interface Analyst for Alamance Regional Medical Center.. Shawn and his wife, Beverly, reside in Graham, NC. - Sibyl Hughes
Sibyl Hughes has been in practice in Colorado since 2003. She has recently joined Front Range Orthopedics as of May 2006. Though Sibyl is new to our practice, she has been specializing in Orthopedics since 1998. Sibyl graduated from Midwestern University Physician Assistant Program in Downers Grove, Illinois in 1998. She successfully completed the program with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master’s in Medical Science. - Kristen Douglas
Kristen Douglas Teacher Kristen received her BA in Elementary Education in 1993 from Potsdam College as well as her masters degree from SUNY Albany. She has been with Creative Dance Arts since it’s inception. She teaches Ballet and Tap, Jazz and Modern dance. Maxine Cole , B.A., M.S. Ms. Cole received a B.A. at the State University of New York at Potsdam College, majoring in biology and a M.S. in Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa. Ms. Cole is currently at the Akwesasne Freedom School (Mohawk immersion program) as an adult learner of the Mohawk language, and teaches on a per diem basis and develops curriculum for the school. Colleen J. Smith: With a master’s degree in college student personnel administration from Canisius College, Colleen joined the staff as a Residential Coordinator in July. She previously served as an assistant in the Career Center at Canisius College, and intern in the student unions at the University of Buffalo. His skills and experience range from software and application development in C++, C, PERL, JAVA, PHP, HTML, SGML and XML. Along with his role at The Business Machine, Greg manages his own technology company, Ferguson Technology Group. Greg has a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.A. in Mathematics from Potsdam College.
