Norman Abrams (born 1933) is acting chancellor and Professor Emeritus in the School of Law at UCLA. It was announced on June 15, 2006 that UC President Robert C. Dynes appointed Abrams to serve as interim chancellor of UCLA starting June 30, 2006, succeeding Albert Carnesale. Gene D. Block has been appointed the next chancellor of UCLA. He will take his position on or before August 1, 2007.

Savitri Goonesekere , a national of Sri Lanka, is Professor of Law Emeritus at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Professor Goonesekere was previously Professor of Law and Vice Chancellor of the university. She also was a member of Sri Lanka’s University Grants Commission, National Education Commission, the National Committee on Women, and the National Committee on the Rights of the Child.

Benjamin Aaron joined the staff of the UCLA Institute of Industrial Relations in 1946. In 1960, Aaron joined the faculty of the UCLA School of Law. During that same year, he became director of the Institute of Industrial Relations, a position he held for 15 years. He became Professor of Law Emeritus in 1986. Since 1946, Aaron has served an arbitrator of labor disputes in virtually every major industry.

Howard P. Fink is a Professor of Law Emeritus. A research assistant and research associate at Yale Law School from 1958 to 1965, Professor Fink also served from 1961 to 1963 as Special Assistant to the Judicial Conference of the United States Advisory Committee on Rules of Evidence for the Federal Courts, drafting the Federal Rules of Evidence. He began teaching at Ohio State in 1965. He was later appointed the Isadore and Ida Topper Professor of Law.
