    Malcolm Norman Meninga AM (born 8 July, 1960 in Bundaberg, Queensland) is an Australian rugby league identity. As a player he was a legendary centre. He has made the most appearances and scored the most points of any player in the green and gold jersey and has been inducted into the Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame. Meninga has previously coached the Canberra Raiders and is now the current coach of the Queensland State of Origin team.

  3. Karmichael Hunt

    Karmichael Hunt (born November 17 1986 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a professional rugby league footballer for the Brisbane Broncos in the Australian National Rugby League competition. He mainly plays in the fullback position, and occasionally on the wing and at halfback. Hunt has played 82 first-grade games for the Broncos between 2004 and 2007, and was part of the Broncos' premiership winning team in 2006.

Bennett holds records for most Grand Final wins and longest time with a single club in Australian rugby league coaching history.

  11. Carl Webb

    Carl Webb (born March 20, 1981 in Mount Isa, Queensland) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. After playing for the Toowoomba Clydesdales, Webb made his NRL debut for the Brisbane Broncos in 2000 against future club the North Queensland Cowboys. The next year he made his debut in State of Origin, representing Queensland, and scored a very memorable try.

  12. Tonie Carroll

    Tonie Carroll (born 17 February, 1976 in Christchurch, New Zealand) is an Australian/New Zealand professional rugby league player. He plays at Lock/Second Row and previously at Center for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League competition and frequently represents Queensland in the State of Origin. Nicknamed 'Tunsa', he started his Australian club career with Brisbane's Easts Tigers team before moving on to the Broncos.

  15. Craig Bellamy

    Craig Bellamy (born October 10, 1959 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory) is a former rugby league player and the current coach of the Melbourne Storm, which compete in the National Rugby League. Bellamy played in the 1990 Grand Final for the Canberra Raiders as a reserve. He also had stint playing in England for Leeds in the early 90's. Prior to joining the Storm in 2003, Bellamy was an assistant coach to Wayne Bennett at the Brisbane Broncos.

    Gorden James Tallis (born 27 July, 1973 in Townsville, Queensland) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played from 1992 to 2004. He captained Australia, Queensland and the Brisbane Broncos and is a Clive Churchill Medallist. Nicknamed the "Raging Bull" for his fearless running game, at the peak of his career Tallis was renowned as the best second-row forward in the world.

    Dane Carlaw (born 21 February, 1980 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League competition. A reliable workhorse in the second row, Carlaw won the Broncos' rookie of the year award in 2000. He goes in and out of form in patches but has represented Queensland and, at his peak, Australia.

    Lote Tuqiri (born 23 September, 1979 in Namatakula, Fiji) is an Australian rugby union player and former rugby league player. He has played for the Wallabies over 40 times and was a part of their 2003 Rugby World Cup squad. He currently plays for the Waratahs in the Super 14. Tuqiri first rose to prominence as a rugby league player for the Brisbane Broncos and Queensland Maroons, as well as the Fiji and Australia national sides. In both sports he plays as a winger.
