  2. Robin Warren

    Dr J. Robin Warren AC (born June 11, 1937 in Adelaide) is an Australian pathologist and researcher who is credited with the 1979 re-discovery of the bacterium "Helicobacter pylori". He received his M.B. B.S. from the University of Adelaide. In 1967 he was admitted into the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia and became a senior pathologist at the Royal Perth Hospital where he spent the majority of his career.

    Fiona Wood AM is a plastic surgeon working in Perth, Western Australia. She is the director of the Royal Perth Hospital burns unit and the Western Australia Burns Service. In addition, Dr Wood is also a Clinical Professor with the School of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Western Australia and Director of the McComb Research Foundation.

  5. Michael O'Connor

    Michael O'Connor was a Member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 1901 to 1904. Born in Newcastle (now Toodyay), Western Australia on 11 November 1865, Michael O'Connor was the son of Daniel Connor, a former convict who had become one of the wealthiest men in the colony. His use of a different surname to that of his father is believed to be an attempt to obscure his convict origins, which was at that time a substantial social stigma.

    Richard Alan Fox (born 1943) is an Australian medical physician. He was the son of Alan Fox, a businessman, and Rosalind Nee Morris. He attended Aquinas College, Perth, the University of Western Australia and Oxford University.

  7. Edmund Birch

    Edmund Birch was a Member of the Western Australian Legislative Council from 1873 to 1875. Born in England in 1831, Birch emigrated to Western Australia on the "Parkfield" in March 1841. There he was apprenticed to George Shenton Sr as a pharmacist. From 1852 to 1853, he was an assistant at the Colonial Hospital (now Royal Perth Hospital). He then went into partnership with his father and brother as pharmacists and grocers in Perth.

    William Morton Purkiss was a Member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 1901 to 1904. Born in Hobart, Tasmania in 1844, Purkiss was the son of draper William Morton Purkiss and Ann Jean nee Walker. He was educated at Horton College, then emigrated to New Zealand in 1867. On 1 January 1873 he married Julia Emma Hawkins at Hokitika, New Zealand; they would have three sons and a daughter.

    I'm a full-time Wife and Mother. I have been lucky enough to travel and live in different places. I met my husband while living in Saudi Arabia and have been happily married for five years. We have two gorgeous children, who definitely can be very testing but I love them to death. Hayden will be 4 in January and Evangeline 2 in December. We arrived here in Hawaii back in August 2006 and it has proven to be a pretty stressful time for us.
