  1. Gertjan Verbeek

    Gertjan Verbeek (born August 1, 1962 in Deventer, Overijssel) is a former football defender from the Netherlands, who played his entire professional career for SC Heerenveen (1984-1994). Verbeek retired in 1994, and soon afterwards became a football manager, who worked as an assistant-coach for SC Heerenveen (1994-2001) and as the head coach of Heracles Almelo (2001-2004). In 2004 he was appointed as the successor of retiring head coach Foppe de Haan at SC Heerenveen.
