  1. Jeff Garcia

    Jeffrey Jason Garcia (born February 24, 1970) is an American professional quarterback currently employed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Garcia's professional career began in the CFL before becoming one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers in the early 2000s. After disappointing seasons in Cleveland and Detroit, Garcia resurrected his career in Philadelphia. Garcia is of Irish and Mexican descent.

Al Saunders played Defensive Back at San Jose State University (SJSU) from 1966-1968 where he was a three-year starter, team captain and Academic All-American. Saunders also played Wide Receiver for the San Jose State Spartans.

    Steven L. DeBerg (born January 19, 1954 in Oakland, California) is a former American Football quarterback who played for the San Francisco 49ers (1978-1980), Denver Broncos (1981-1983), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1984-1987, 1992, 1993), Kansas City Chiefs (1988-1991), Miami Dolphins (1993), and Atlanta Falcons (1998). He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 10th round of the 1977 NFL Draft. Prior to joining the NFL, he played quarterback for San Jose State.

  5. Ron McBride

    Ron McBride is the current head coach of Weber State University's football team. Coach "Mac" has over 40 years of coaching experience, including 13 years as head coach at the University of Utah. A native of Los Angeles, California, McBride was an all-city football and baseball standout at South Gate High School. He attended San Jose State where he played for the Spartans from 1959-62 and served as team captain his senior year.

  6. Courtney Anderson

    Courtney Anderson is an American football player who currently plays tight end for the Oakland Raiders. He began his collegiate career at Contra Costa College, where he lined up at wide receiver before moving to defensive end. He then transferred to San José State University where, in 23 games, hauled in 36 passes for 477 yards (13.3 avg.) and seven touchdowns. He was drafted by Oakland in the seventh round (245th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft.

  7. David Loverne

    David Loverne (born May 22, 1976 in Concord, California) is a professional football offensive lineman for the Houston Texans of the NFL. Loverne did not begin playing football until high school after his mother reportedly insisted he take up sports in order to stay out of trouble. His football team, De La Salle High School, was named national champion in five different years on a winning streak which began when Loverne played there as a two-way lineman.

He was a five time Pro Bowler in 1977 to 1979, 1983 and 1985. Wright played college football at San José State University and was inducted to the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame in 1993. In his NFL career he had 26 interceptions for 360 yards and 1 touchdown. He also scored two touchdowns on fumble returns.

He was a member of the Dolphins Killer B's defense of the early 1980s and was a one time Pro Bowler in 1979.
