- Maria Klawe
Dr. Maria Klawe became fifth president of Harvey Mudd College in July, 2006. Prior to joining HMC, Maria served as Dean of Engineering and a professor of Computer Science at Princeton University and in several positions at the University of British Columbia including Dean of Science, Vice-President of Student and Academic Services, and Head of Computer Science. Maria has also worked at IBM Research in California, and at the University of Toronto. She received her Ph.D. and B.Sc.

Samuel L. Ginn (Born April, 1937) a native of Anniston, AL, received a degree in industrial management from Auburn University in 1959. He is considered a pioneer in the wireless communications industry and is a retired chairman and CEO of Vodafone AirTouch, PLC. Ginn was appointed by Gov. Bob Riley for an at large seat on the Auburn University Board of Trustees in 2005. His term expires on February 16, 2012.

Pettit Chair Professor of Microsystems at Georgia Institute of Technology since 1993. - Keith Uncapher
Keith Uncapher was born in Denver, Colorado April 1 1922 and died in Los Angeles, California on October 10 2002 of heart failure. Uncapher worked at the RAND Corporation and subsequently founded the Information Sciences Institute (ISI) at the University of Southern California, School of Engineering. While at RAND he spread the ideas that later evolved into the Internet. Under his leadership, ISI provided support for emerging DARPA programs in Information Technology.

William Augustus Norton (October 25, 1810 - September 21, 1883) was a noted educator, civil engineer and author. He was born in East Bloomfield, New York. Norton graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1831 and began his academic career there as assistant professor of natural and experimental philosophy.
