Andrew has been an active researcher of the human response to information technology for the last 15 years, graduating from University College Cork and Loughborough University of Technology before being appointed Research Fellow at the Human Sciences and Advanced Technology Research Institute in the UK. He moved to Indiana University in 1994 where, amongst other duties, he developed and served as Director of the Masters in Human-Computer Interaction at the School of Informatics.

- Mark Frank
Mark Frank Mark Frank received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Cornell University in 1989. He then did postdoctoral research with Dr. Paul Ekman. In 1992 he joined the School of Psychology at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, and 4 years later joined the Communication Department at Rutgers University in New Jersey. In 2005 he returned to his hometown by accepting a position in the School of Informatics at the University of Buffalo.
- Malcolm Atkinson
Malcolm Atkinson is Director of the e-Science Institute. He is the UK e-Science Envoy and plays a leading role in OMII-UK, and is on the advisory boards of GOSC, NCeSS, Baltic Grid and GEON. He leads training and education in the two EU-funded projects EGEE-II and ICEAGE project, International Collaboration to Extend and Advance Grid Education. These two projects have organised the ISSGC06. He is a member of the Global Grid Forum Steering Group and Data Area Director for GGF.

Peter earned his PhD from the University at Buffalo's School of Informatics, where he worked as a Senior Applications Analyst in the Computing and Information Technology Division. As part of his job at the University of Buffalo, he managed the Advanced Technolgy Skunkworks, a team of IT professionals responsible for facilitating the adoption of advanced information technologies.

Albert William received the 2003 Silicon Graphics Inc. Award for excellence in computational sciences and visualization at Indiana University. Prior to accepting an academic position, Albert worked for the past 12 years at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Albert has been involved in numerous projects in the School of Informatics. He created “The Cell- A Virtual Tour”, an interactive multimedia CD/ROM designed to be used as a learning aid in cellular biology.

Margaret Caddick Senior Secretary Margaret is a senior secretary in the School of Informatics and the majority of her responsibilities since August 2005 involve support to the Commercial Team of the Edinburgh-Stanford Link. She deals with organising travel and accommodation for the team as well as for visitors to the University, assisting with orgnisation of meetings and hospitality and any other secretarial and administrative requirements of the team.

Dr Tim Morris researches real-time video processing problems and image coding and segmentation issues. Video processing research finds applications in creating intelligent assistants - such as non-contact computer interfaces based on speech or image input - and in video-mediated communication. Research into image segmentation is being demonstrated by the interpretation of medical images.
