- Scott Thomas
Scott Thomas (born January 18, 1970, in Buffalo, New York, USA) is a retired professional ice hockey right wing. He was drafted in the third round, 56th overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Thomas played 39 games with the Sabres over two seasons, 1992-93 and 1993-94. He returned to the National Hockey League late in his career, appearing in 24 games with the Los Angeles Kings in 2000-01.

Prior to becoming DA, Thomas was a member of the North Carolina State Senate from 2000 to 2005, representing the Second Senatorial district. Before that, Thomas was a one-term member of the North Carolina State House of Representatives.

Being a 29 year-old undergraduate is a bit like showing up ten years late to the prom. But here I am; got a corsage. Much like the real prom, I probably won't get laid at this one either. I am an English major, which is slightly less pretentious than a Philosophy major but just a hair moreso than a Film major. I recently quit smoking, which has made me less pleasant than I was previous. I am a pretty big nerd, just in case this is not yet abundantly clear.

Out of school finally, took a while to get that BBA. I just graduated from The University of Texas......at Arlington. I'm still living close to school, haven't completly let it go. I started playing guitar when I was 14 yrs old. My brother had a Strat and never played it so I used to watch MTV and mock the chords. It set me free. I loved, and still do love, playing guitar. I wanted to be the next Van Halen or George Lynch. Early on I had a stronger blues influence. Alot of it was from a friend who gave me my first lesson. I also learned to appreciate guys like Stevie Ray, Hendrix, Clapton.
