Suzanne Gaudet (Pronounced "Good-ee"; born October 2, 1981 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island) is a Canadian curler. Gaudet, a skip, is a two-time Canadian Junior Champion (2001, 2002) and a former World Junior Curling Champion (2001). Gaudet had attended the 1998, 1999 and 2000 Canadian Juniors before finally winning it. At the 2001 World Juniors, she defeated Matilda Mattsson's Swedish rink for the gold. Janet Harvey is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1984, Harvey played second for Darcy Kirkness at that years Canadian Junior Curling Championships. The team won the tournament, however there were no Worlds for women until 1988. In 1986, Harvey returned to the Juniors as a skip, but did not win. A Winnipeg native, Parkes joined the CCA in Ottawa in 1988 as its general manager and became its chief executive officer in 2000. Mabel Margaret DeWare (born August 9 1926) is a Canadian politician, curler, and retired Senator. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, she skipped her team to a New Brunswick and Canadian Curling Association Ladies Curling championship in 1963, forerunner to the Scott Tournament of Hearts. In 1978, she was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick.
