Alissa Czisny (born June 25, 1987), is an American figure skater. She is the 2007 US National bronze medalist. In 2005, Czisny gained international attention when won Skate Canada International and placed second at Skate America. She qualified for the 2005-2006 Grand Prix Final and placed sixth. She went on to the 2006 US Championships in St. Louis, where she was a heavy favorite to place in the top three. However, Czisny fell multiple times and finished seventh overall.

John Baldwin, Jr. (born October 18, 1973 in Dallas, Texas) is an American figure skater. He currently competes in pairs figure skating with Rena Inoue, his partner both on and off the ice. They have twice won gold medals at the United States Figure Skating Championships and finished 7th at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Previously, he competed as a singles' skater, with a best finish of 9th at Nationals in 1995.

Yukari Nakano (born on August 25, 1985 in Konan, Aichi, Japan) is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2006 Four Continents silver medalist. At the 2002 Skate America, Nakano became, along with Liudmila Nelidina, the first female skater to land a triple axel in international competition since Midori Ito in 1992.

Fabian Bourzat is a French ice dancer. He competes with Nathalie Pechalat. They were twice the French junior national champions and have never missed the nationals podium as seniors. They recently placed third at Skate America.

Anabelle Langlois is a Canadian pairs figure skater. She had a very successful skating career with Patrice Archetto. The pair broke up in 2005 and she currently competes with Cody Hay. The pair have been on the rise, finishing 4th at the 2006 Skate America. They were forced to withdraw from their second event, Cup of Russia, because the airline lost Langlois's skates.

Cody Hay (born July 28, 1983 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian pairs figure skater. He currently competes with Anabelle Langlois. At six feet tall, he is over a foot taller than Langlois. He previously competed with Daylan Hoffmann. He teamed up with Langlois in 2005. They placed fourth at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in 2006 and went on to place sixth at the Four Continents Championships. They are coached by Lee Barkell.

Naomi Nari Nam (born July 6, 1985 in Anaheim, California), is an American figure skater. Nam and her partner, Themistocles Leftheris are the reigning U.S. national bronze medalists.

Scott Smith (born October 19, 1981 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida) is an American figure skater. He was the 1999 US Junior National Champion. At the 2006 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, he was the only competitor to land a clean quadruple jump. He represents the Skating Club of Boston. He is coached by Mark Mitchell and Peter Johansson and his programs are choreographed by Jamie Isley and Lori Nichol.

Dmitri Khromin is a Polish pair skater. He previously competed with Julia Shapiro for Russia and had some success on the Junior Grand Prix circuit. The pair broke up in 2002. Khromin currently competes with Dominika Piatkowska for Poland. The pair are the 2005-2007 Polish national champions (Dorota Zagorska and Mariusz Siudek did not compete those years). Piatkowska & Khromin recently placed eighth at Skate America and sixth at Trophee Eric Bompard.

So it's been a full year, and it hasn't even hit me yet, to know that someone is gone and that you can never just call to say hi, or say I love you, or even get in one of those stupid arguments that are over nothing and you will both regret later.
