    Robin Bell (born 16 November 1977 in Kaapstad, South Africa) is an Australian slalom canoer, who was born in South Africa. Competing in the C-1 event, he finished ninth at the 2000 Summer Olympics and fourth at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He was named Western Australian Sports Star of the Year in 2005.

    Tony Estanguet (born 6 May 1978) is an French slalom canoer. He has won two Olympic gold medals in the C-1 event, in 2000 and 2004.

  3. Peter Hochschorner

    Peter Hochschorner (born 7 September 1979) is a Slovak slalom canoer who won two Olympic medals in the C-2 event, in 2000 and 2004, both times with his twin brother Pavol Hochschorner as the teammate.

    Jennifer Bongardt (born 8 September 1982 in Hagen-Dahl) is a German slalom canoer. She finished ninth in the K-1 event at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

    Louise Natoli (born 24 April 1979) is an Australian slalom canoer. She finished sixth in the K-1 event at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

  6. Michal Martikán

    Michal Martikán is a Slovakian slalom canoeist. In 1996 he became the first athlete to win an Olympic Games gold medal for Slovakia after the country's independence in 1993. In the following two Olympics he won the silver medal in the same C1 event. He was awarded the silver medal after controversial verdict of referee in Athens 2004. He has also won the World Championships three times, in 1997, 2002 and 2003.

    Jaroslav Volf is a Czech slalom canoer. He won a bronze medal in the C-2 event at the 2004 Summer Olympics together with Ondřej Štěpánek. They previously finished fifth at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

  8. Thomas Schmidt

    Thomas Schmidt (born 18 February 1976 in Bad Kreuznach) is a German slalom canoer. He won the gold medal in the K-1 event at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He also competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth.

  9. David Ford

    David Ford (born March 23, 1967 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian whitewater slalom kayaker. He began kayaking at age 10, and is a graduate of the University of Alberta. He won a gold medal in the K1 event of the 1999 World Championships La Seu d'Urgell, Spain and won a silver in the same event at the 2003 World Championships in Augsburg, Germany.

  10. Stefan Pfannmöller

    Stefan Pfannmöller is a German slalom canoer. He won the bronze medal in the C-1 event at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He had previously finished fifth at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

  11. Pavol Hochschorner

    Pavol Hochschorner (born 7 September 1979) is a Slovak slalom canoer who won two Olympic medals in the C-2 event, in 2000 and 2004, both times with his twin brother Peter Hochschorner as the teammate.

    Elena Kaliská is a Slovak slalom canoer. She won a silver medal in the K-1 event at the 2004 Olympic Games. At the previous Olympic Games in 2000 she finished fourth.

    Marek Jiras is a Czech slalom canoer. He won a bronze medal in the C-2 event at the 2000 Summer Olympics together with Tomas Máder. They then competed at the same event at the 2004 Summer Olympics, but only finished seventh.

    Pierpaolo Ferrazzi (born 23 July 1965) is an Italian slalom canoer. He won two Olympic medals in the K-1 event, in 1992 and 2000. He also competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing nineteenth.

  15. Michael Senft

    Michael Senft (born 28 September 1972) is a German slalom canoer. He won an Olympic bronze medal in the C-2 event in 1996 together with Andre Ehrenberg. They teamed up again in 2000 to finish eighth in the same event. In 2004 Senft teamed up with Christian Bahmann and finished fourth.

  16. Wilfrid Forgues

    Wilfrid Forgues (born 22 December 1969) is a French slalom canoer. He won two Olympic medals in the C-2 event, in 1992 and 1996, both times with Frank Adisson as the teammate. They also competed in 2000, but finished seventh.

  17. Anne-Lise Bardet

    Anne-Lise Bardet (born 18 November 1969) is a French slalom canoer. She won the bronze medal in the K-1 event at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

  18. Gabriela Stacherová

    Gabriela Stacherová is a Slovak slalom canoer. Competing in the K-1 event, she finished eleventh at the 2000 Summer Olympics and tenth at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

  19. Christian Bahmann

    Christian Bahmann (born 22 July 1981) is a German slalom canoer. He finished fourth in the C-2 event at the 2004 Summer Olympics together with former Olympic bronze medalist Michael Senft.

  26. Lukáš Pollert

    Lukáš Pollert is a Czech slalom canoer who won two Olympic medals in the C-1 event, in 1992 and 1996. Being a Doctor of Medicine, he resigned from his sportsmanship career in 2000 and is nowadays active in his career of a GP in ER of Prague's Military Hospital. He has published several books of interviews with other top Czech sportmans ("Lukáš Pollert se ptá") and is an active videoblogger on [Vyladeno.tv] site. Has two daughters.
