Nathan Lovett-Murray (born November 18, 1982) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the AFL's Essendon Football Club. Lovett-Murray plays as a hard-running defender, but can also play in other positions. He was once on Collingwood's rookie list, and played for the VFL's Bendigo Bombers and the Williamstown Seagulls before being selected by the Bombers in the 2003 rookie draft. He was promoted to the senior list early in the 2004 season and played 20 games.

Brian Harris (born February 27, 1982) is an Australian rules footballer. Picked late in the 2001 AFL Draft at pick 71 from Woodville West-Torrens, Harris was a relatively late developer. Making his AFL debut late in the 2002 season, he was seen as a raw fullback who was some way from fully developing. However, by the 2005 season, Harris' jobs in blanketing some of the best full-forwards in the game were seen as outstanding.

Joel Smith (born May 3, 1977), is an Australian rules footballer. Beginning his career in 1995 as a bright young prospect for St Kilda, Smith was touted as the future of the club. He provided 3 good years of service before being incurring a serious anterior cruciate ligament injury requiring reconstruction late in the 1997 home and away season, missing the Saints' finals series. A contractual dispute meant he moved to Hawthorn at the end of 1997.

Trent Knobel (born 23 May 1980) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Knobel, a ruckman originally from the Gold Coast, was recruited to the AFL in his home state with the Brisbane Lions onto their rookie list. He made his debut in 2000 after a rookie elevation. After getting his chance in Round 14, Knobel held his spot for much of the season, and played in two finals matches.

Austinn "Aussie" Jones (born September 28, 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer with the St Kilda Football Club. The 176cm Jones played for the Collingwood reserves in the mid-1990s, but they were afraid to recruit him due to him weighing just 64 kilograms. "Aussie" as he is more commonly known, however, refused to give up on his dream to play AFL football, and was recruited to St Kilda in the 1994 AFL Draft.

Neil E. Roberts (born 15 June, 1933) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL. Roberts played with St Kilda on the forward line initially but later excelled as a centre half back, winning the Brownlow medal in 1958. Captained the side from 1959 to 1962 before retiring at 29 years of age and commencing a career in sports journalism. Inducted to the Saints inaugural Hall of Fame in 2003.

Verdun John Howell (born 16 June, 1936) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL (now AFL). Howell made his VFL debut with St Kilda in 1958 after being signed on from Tasmania in 1953. He played on the half forward line initially, then later as a half back before playing with the Saints as a full back. Later in his career he spent some time in the forward line, once booting nine goals against Hawthorn.

Brian Dixon (born 20 May 1936) is a former Australian rules footballer and Victorian Politician. Dixon played 252 VFL games for Melbourne between 1954 and 1968, playing mostly on the wing. He had a stellar football career, playing in five premierships, winning in 1960 he was Melbourne Best and Fairest, while in 1961 he was selected in the All Australian Team and he also won the Tassie Medal. In 2000 he was named in Melbourne's Team of the Century.
