  1. Joe Soucheray

    Joe Soucheray is a radio talk-show host syndicated throughout the American Midwest on the Hubbard Radio Network. He broadcasts his show "Garage Logic" from KSTP-AM 1500 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It currently airs from 2 p.m to 5:30 p.m. CST Monday through Friday. His other show, Saturday Morning Sports Talk, airs on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon CST.

    Nicholas Joseph Coleman is a long time Minnesota journalist. He currently writes as a metro columnist for the "Star Tribune", the large circulation daily newspaper published in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Coleman is on his second stint at the Star Tribune, having begun his career there in the 1970’s. By happenstance, Coleman was in attendance when Minnesota Twins owner Calvin Griffith made his infamous Waseca Lions Club speech in 1978.

  3. Jim Romenesko

    Jim Romenesko (born September 16, 1953) is an American journalist who runs the blog Romenesko on the website of the non-profit journalism school the Poynter Institute. The blog provides daily news, commentary, and insider information about journalism and media and has become popular among professionals in the industry. Romenesko graduated from Marquette University and went to work for the "Milwaukee Journal", serving as a police reporter for the newspaper.

  4. Katherine Lanpher

    Katherine Lanpher, born May 27, 1959, was until recently a talk radio personality, and previously an award-winning journalist and newspaper columnist for the Saint Paul Pioneer-Press. Her career includes internships with the Muskegon Chronicle, the Detroit Free Press and the Chicago Sun-Times, where she danced her way through an investigation of dance studios. She has written free-lance articles and columns for publications including the New York Times.

  5. Larry Millett

    Larry Millett (b. 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA) is an American journalist and author. He is the former (retired 2002) architectural critic for the "St. Paul Pioneer Press", a daily newspaper in St. Paul, Minnesota, and the author of several books on the history of architecture in Minnesota. He has also written a series of Sherlock Holmes mysteries set in the United States and Minnesota in the 1890s.

  6. Jan Gangelhoff

    Janice M. Gangelhoff (July 17, 1948 –February 28, 2005) was an academic counselor at the University of Minnesota who was the primary whistleblower for the academic scandal of the men’s basketball team during the tenure of Coach Clem Haskins. From 1993 to 1998, Gangelhoff did more than 400 of pieces of coursework for student-athletes on the Golden Gophers basketball team. Additionally, she was paid $3,000 by Haskins to tutor Gopher player Antoine Broxsie in 1998.

  7. William S. King

    Colonel William Smith King (December 16, 1828 - February 24, 1900) was a United States Representative from Minnesota from March 4, 1875 to March 3, 1877. He engaged in a variety of other activities, including journalism and surveying. He served as a Republican. King was born in Malone, New York in Franklin County where he grew up and attended the local schools and did agricultural work.

    Sam Bergman Sam Bergman joined the viola section of the Minnesota Orchestra in February 2000, at the age of 23. A native of small-town Pennsylvania, he grew up studying violin and viola with some of the more prominent musicians in the Boston Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra. He graduated from Oberlin Conservatory, where he studied under the truly outstanding team of Jeffrey Irvine and Lynne Ramsey, with whom he credits every professional success he has since enjoyed.

    Chris Polydoroff Chris Polydoroff received his masters degree in photography from Ohio University and within the same week started working for the St. Paul Pioneer Press in June 1987. Before that, he was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines, having graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in cultural anthropology. While his first love is fine art photography, he has grown to love the variety of assignments he photographs for the Pioneer Press.

    Ben Garvin Ben Garvin joined the St. Paul Pioneer Press as a photojournalist in 2004. Previously, Ben worked for the Associated Press in New York City, the Christian Science Monitor in Boston, and at the Concord Monitor in New Hampshire where he was named “New Hampshire Photographer of the Year” for three years in a row. In 2004 he started an award-winning photo column at the Pioneer Press called Ant Farm that has told the stories of over 40 people in the Minnesota community.
