John Richard Schlesinger CBE (February 16, 1926 - July 25, 2003) was an English film director. Born in London to a Jewish family, he went on to work in television as an actor after graduating from Balliol College, Oxford. One of his first movies, the documentary "Terminus" (1960), earned him a Venice Film Festival Gold Lion and a British Academy Award. He was also openly gay with his life partner of 30 years.

Murray Seafield Saint George Head (born March 5, 1946) is a British actor and singer. He was born in London to Seafield Head, a documentary-maker, and Helen Shingler, an actress. His younger brother is "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Anthony Head. Head began acting and writing songs as a child, and by the mid-1960s he had a London recording contract.

Peter Finch was an English-born Australian actor. Born Frederick George Peter Ingle-Finch in London, he lived as a child in France and India, and finally in Australia, his parents' native country. There he grew up in Sydney. After finishing school, he worked in several badly paid jobs until he tried acting. He began in 1935 playing theatre roles, and also working in radio. In 1938, he appeared in his first film, "Dad and Dave Come to Town".
