I am a former Army NCO now working as a technical instructor. I have gone through some rough times over the last couple of years, but thanks to some special people, I am getting back into the game. I have learned that there are more caring people out there than I thought. Without these angels (you know who you are) I would have been lost. I hope to return the favor as best I can. I believe I am an easy going friendly person that enjoys laughing and being with people.

Right now I work an office job until my dream of being a rock star comes true. So far, I've gotten the musical talent and groupies parts down, I just need a band and some backup dancers. Oh and some songs to write.

What about me? It's just me! I am a Technical Instructor for HP, I love my job!!! Teaching to me is like acting with a defined objective and purpose. There is nothing more fulfilling to me that to see that magic moment when the lightbulb appears over someone's head. To see the wheels spin as they link this new knowledge to everything else they know about the subject and the pieces all start to fall into place.

At heart, I am a romantic individualist. These contradictory traits sometimes put me at odds with myself, but it's a familiar predicament. The tough part is finding peace along the way.

Alright, the basics: Raised on the East Coast in a small town in Massachusetts. I began playing electric bass at 17 (a little late but better than never...this seems to be my mantra lately) and have grown to absolutely love the instrument and it's place in music and how it's broken the mold from strictly background to becoming a progressively melodic instrument in the hands of some bad@$$ cats.

I've come to realize that I work best under pressure and straight off the cuff. I've got this strange sense of humor that everyone seems to enjoy. I've got some great friends who always seem to keep me inspired. I'm a bit of a work-a-holic and I really don't like sitting still for too long. I've always been heavy into Martial Arts. I started my training with my father, Ahimuto Almazan, at the age of 4 in the traditional style of Song Moo Kwon Tae Kwon Do.

The more I get to know myself, the more I like myself. Spend the first half of your life trying to be someone you're not and it makes it kind of hard to find them again. Eventually you realize that your parents, teachers, counsellors, etc.. although still annoying and a pain sometimes, were actually right. Those cheesy posters and slogans aimed to keep you true to yourself and aware were right.. we just refuse to believe it could apply to ourselves.
