1. Mack Brown

    William Mack Brown (born August 27, 1951) is head coach of the University of Texas Longhorn football team. During the 2005 season, Coach Brown led the Longhorns to a Rose Bowl victory and a National Championship. With the 2006 season, Brown led his team to win 10 games or more for six straight years, which is the best current ten-win streak in the NCAA. Prior to coaching at Texas, Brown coached at Appalachian State, Tulane, and North Carolina.

  4. Keith Moreland

    Bobby Keith Moreland (born May 2, 1954 in Dallas, Texas) is a former outfielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and San Diego Padres. In 1989, the final year of his career, he played for the Detroit Tigers, then the Baltimore Orioles. Moreland graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, and was drafted by the Phillies in the seventh round of the 1975 draft.

  5. Colt McCoy

    Daniel "Colt" McCoy (born September 5, 1986 in Hobbs, New Mexico) is a quarterback for the Texas Longhorn college football team. As a redshirt freshman in 2006, he was the starting quarterback for the 2006 Longhorn team. On November 4 2006, McCoy threw his 27th touchdown pass in a win against Oklahoma State, to take sole possession of the UT school record for most touchdowns ever thrown by a quarterback in a single season.

  6. Dusty Mangum

    Dustin Ross Mangum is a former placekicker for the University of Texas at Austin's college football team (The Texas Longhorns) from 2001 to 2004. Mangum, who began his college football career as a walk-on, is best known for capping UT's 2004-2005 season with a 37-yard game-winning field goal as time expired in the 2005 Rose Bowl versus No. 13 University of Michigan.

  7. Deloss Dodds

    DeLoss Dodds is the current men's athletic director of The University of Texas at Austin. During his tenure, Texas has claimed 12 National Championships and 82 conference titles.     Fred Akers was the football coach of The University of Texas Longhorns from 1977 to 1986. His notable accomplishments include a Heisman Trophy for Earl Campbell in the 1977 season and national title chances in the 1978 and 1984 Cotton Bowls. In both of those years Texas went undefeated in the regular season only to lose in their bowl game. Akers received criticism because he failed to live up to the standard set by previous head coach Darrell Royal.

  29. Cliff Gustafson

    Cliff Gustafson is a former Texas high school & college baseball coach who was, for twenty-nine seasons, the head coach of The University of Texas at Austin Longhorn baseball team. During this time he became the most successful head coach in NCAA Division I baseball history, a record relinquished in 2005 to his successor as UT baseball head coach, Augie Garrido. Gustafson, born February 17, 1931, is a native of Kenedy, Texas.

  30. Jeff Madden

    Jeff "Mad Dog" Madden is the strength and conditioning coach for the college football team of The University of Texas, the Texas Longhorns. He helped the team win the 2005 National Championship. Included among his students are two Heisman Trophy winners: Rashaan Salaam and Ricky Williams.

  31. Billy Disch

    William J. "Billy" Disch was the baseball coach for the University of Texas Longhorns from 1911 to 1939, and served as an advisory coach for 12 seasons afterwards. Often called the Connie Mack of college baseball, Disch earned a 513-180-12 record at Texas and garnered 20 Southwest Conference titles. At the time he coached, there were no NCAA postseason playoffs for national honors. Along with Bibb Falk, Disch is one of the two namesakes of UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

  32. Blair Cherry
