From 1946 to 1949 he studied at The Cooper Union in New York, and from 1949 to 1950 he studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine.

    Stan Allen is an American architect, theorist and dean of the School of Architecture at Princeton University. He received a B.A. from Brown University, a B.Arch. from the Cooper Union and an M.Arch. from Princeton University and has worked in the offices of Richard Meier and Rafael Moneo. He was formerly the director, with landscape architect James Corner, of Field Operations. His practice, Stan Allen Architect, is based in Princeton.

    David Heymann is an American architect who was commissioned by President George W. Bush to design a custom, environmentally friendly house for the Bush ranch near Crawford, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The Cooper Union in 1984. After receiving his B.Arch., he worked for Tod Williams and Associates, and I.M. Pei and Partners. He received his Masters of Architecture Degree from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University in 1988.

    Aline Kominsky-Crumb (born Aline Goldsmith, August 1948, Long Beach, New York) is an underground comix artist, who married into the Crumb family, best known for her autobiographical stories. In these stories she refers to herself as The Bunch, a nickname she was apparently given as a child. She was born to a middle class Jewish family in the Five Towns area of Long Island.
