I live in the beautiful Northwest and love music, traveling, great food and specialty beers, good conversation, reading and movies. I'm moving to Olympia, Wash., as part of an odd arc that has taken me from New Jersey to Ohio to Florida to Iowa to Oregon and, finally, to Washington. I'm about to live really close to my sister, who is my best friend, and I'm psyched.

Hi! I'm a column in the Tampa Tribune. I like long walks on the beach, romantic candlelit dinners and ridiculous questions based on ludicrous news events that take place during the previous week. Check out my latest column each week in the blog area on this page. Also, feel free to e-mail me Big Questions you want answers to.

Something new for those who know me. I have recently asked Jesus back into my life again. I have been off track for a while and now that I am back, I am happier than ever. I feel like a new man, with a new mission. I just started school at Clovis Community College on August 27th. So far, so good. I am going for my nursing degree. It will be a long hard road ahead, but I will work hard and pray even harder to get this done.

I ran a marathon in 5:45. I've taken a class on how to make great pies. My grandmother taught me how to make fantastic cupcakes. I've got a cat who thinks he's a dog. I plan every year for the possibility that this might be the year American University basketball makes the NCAA Tournament. I saw the Phillies play in Game 5 of the 1993 World Series (they lost). I've seen the Stanley Cup sitting on a pool table in a bar. I worked out at the gym with A-Rod.
