    Norman Abrams (born 1933) is acting chancellor and Professor Emeritus in the School of Law at UCLA. It was announced on June 15, 2006 that UC President Robert C. Dynes appointed Abrams to serve as interim chancellor of UCLA starting June 30, 2006, succeeding Albert Carnesale. Gene D. Block has been appointed the next chancellor of UCLA.   5. Susan Westerberg Prager

    Susan Westerberg Prager (1942-) is the current president of Occidental College. Prager was dean of the UCLA School of Law from 1982 to 1998, being one of the first female deans of a law school in the United States. During her term at the UCLA School of Law, she became the second woman to serve as the president of the Association of American Law Schools. Prager was born in Sacramento, California, and grew up in Sloughhouse, California, a small town outside of Sacramento.

    Jerry Mumford Patterson (born October 25, 1934) is a California politician, who was a U.S. Representative from California. Born in El Paso, Texas, Patterson graduated from Tucson High School in Tucson, Arizona in 1952. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1953 to 1957.
