    John Edward Porter (b. June 1, 1935) is a former United States Representative from Illinois. Porter was born in Evanston, Illinois, was educated in public schools, and then attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for one year before receiving a B.S. and B.A. from Northwestern University in 1957. He then received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the University of Michigan Law School in 1961, and was admitted to the Illinois bar that same year.

  4. Christopher M. Beiring

    Christopher M. Beiring is a Captain in the United States Army Reserves. He became notable when an Army inquiry implicated Beiring, and many of the men under his command, in the 377th Military Police Company in the deaths in custody, in December 2002, of two captives they shared custody of with Company A of the 519th Military Intelligence Battalion.

    Terry Smiljanich is a lawyer. Smiljanich served as editor of the University of Florida Law Review and as a law clerk to Federal District Judge Ben Krentzman in Tampa from 1972 to 1974. He was also an Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida from 1974 to 1977. Smiljanich served in the United States Army Reserves from 1972-1981, and became a captain. He acted as counsel to the United States Senate during the Iran-Contra hearings.

    Phillip Hart Weaver (b. 1919- d. 1989) was a Nebraska Republican politician, who was also the son of former Nebraska govenor Arthur J. Weaver and grandson of former representative Archibald Jerard Weaver. He was born in Falls City, Nebraska on April 9, 1919. He was educated at St. Benedicts College in Atchison, Kansas from 1938 to 1939 and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. From 1938 to 1940 he was a radio announcer.
