- Sunil Gulati
Sunil 'Kumar' Gulati (born July 30 1959, in Allahabad, India) is the current president of the United States Soccer Federation or USSF and President of Kraft Soccer for the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer. Elected in March 2006, Gulati is one of the most influential figures in the development of US soccer over the past 30 years.

Beasley was one of the most prominent players in MLS before making a move during the league's 2004 season to Dutch team PSV Eindhoven.

Eric Wynalda (born June 9, 1969 in Fullerton, California) is a former American soccer forward, and the joint all-time leading scorer for the U.S. National Team (along with Landon Donovan). Wynalda scored the first goal ever in Major League Soccer in 1996 and was elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2004.

S. Robert "Bob" Contiguglia (born September 14, 1941 in New York City, New York) is a nephrologist and a former President of the United States Soccer Federation. Raised on Long Island and later a resident of Colorado, he has played, coached, and managed soccer at several different levels. He earned his medical degree at the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn and an undergraduate degree at Columbia University, majoring in zoology with a minor in English.

Bob Gansler (born July 1, 1941 in Mucsi, Hungary) is a Hungarian-American soccer player and coach. He coached the US National Team at the 1990 World Cup, the team's first appearance at the tournament since 1950. He currently is an assistant coach for Toronto FC. Previously, Gansler coached the Kansas City Wizards, winning the club's first MLS Cup in 2000 and the US Open Cup in 2004. He also coached the Milwaukee Rampage to the A-League title in 1997.

- Eddie Gaven
Eddie Gaven (born October 25, 1986 in Hamilton, New Jersey) is an American soccer player who plays for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer. Gaven became the youngest player to sign with MLS, doing so at the age of 16 years and two months (since passed by Freddy Adu), joining the league after having spent two years training with other promising young Americans at the USSF's Bradenton Academy.

John Hackworth is the head coach for the US Under 17 Men's National Team at USSF's IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, Florida. John took over from former head coach John Ellinger in November of 2004 after working as his assistant for over two years. Before joining the U.S. Soccer federation coaching staff, John was head coach at the University of South Florida. John Hackworth is also a main character in the science fiction novel The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson.

Bertrand "Bert" A. Patenaude (November 4 1909, Fall River, Massachusetts - November 4 1974, Fall River, Massachusetts) was an American football player. Although earlier disputed, he is now officially credited by FIFA as the scorer of the first hat-trick in World Cup history. He is a member of the United States Soccer Hall of Fame. Patenaude's historic day came on July 17 1930, as the United States played Paraguay in the inaugural World Cup. Bert scored in the 10th minute.

Born in Haiti to a Haitian mother and Belgian father, Gaetjens went to New York City in the late 1940s to study accounting at Columbia University on a scholarship from the Haitian government.

His senior year, the team made it to the NCAA championship before losing to Virginia.

James Murphy is a former U.S. soccer player who was a member of the St. Louis Kutis in the mid-1950s. In 1957, the United States Soccer Federation replaced the U.S. national team with the Kutis club in the middle of the 1958 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign. Kutis, acting as the U.S. national team, lost two games to Canada and the U.S. had failed to qualify for a second straight Cup final. However, Murphy scored 3-2 loss on July 6, 1957.

Bill Looby (born November 11, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri - died December 9, 1998 in St. Louis) is a former United States soccer player and a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Looby played forward both professionally and for the U.S. national team. In 1950, he began playing for the St. Louis Raiders which won the National Amateur Cup in 1952. After that victory, Tom Kutis, owner of the Kutis Funeral Home, began to sponsor the team.
