Tom has earned All-American honors in 1982 and 1983 and has been an eight-time USAV All-American. Tom completes annually in the United States National Tournament. Tom has coached for 15 years at the high school level at Estancia and Newport Harbor high schools.

    Dwight Burgess Capital University Head Coach Dwight Burgess is Head Coach of men's and women's soccer at Capital University, having previously served as the Head Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for Ohio State. Under Burgess both teams earned the National Team Academic Award and 100% of the four year letter-winners have graduated. On the field each team has appeared in the Great Lakes Region top ten and the women's side was 2004 OAC Champion.

    Kathy De Angelis , a former player and current coach for the United States National Field Hockey program, is in her 10th year as head field hockey coach at Hofstra University . In her nine seasons at Hofstra, De Angelis has guided the Pride to a 91-88 record and has seen her team post six straight winning seasons (2001 through 2006) for the first time at the Division I level and just the second time since 1947 to 1952. Hofstra's record over the last six seasons is 73-47.

  29. Bob Flores

    Bob Flores In his 32nd season as a head soccer coach, Bob spent his first 17 years at Cerritos College where his teams won 10 conference championships and played in regional and state competitions. Four of his former players made appearances with the United States National team and two played in 3 World Cups. In 1990, Bob's first year at Southwestern, his team won the Pacific Coast Conference. Coach Flore's teams continue to play fundamentally sound soccer.

In the summers from 1965 through 1968, Mr. Madden rowed with the Vesper Boat Club Lightweights. Mr. Madden and his boatmates were frequent winners at the United States National, Canadian Henley and Head of the Charles Regattas.

  40. Mary Slater

    Mary Slater is an architectural conservator with the United States National Park Service at Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico, where she directs the conservation of masonry pueblo sites and assists in the conservation of cavate pueblos at the park. Upon graduating with a BA in English from the University of Virginia, Mary began her career in historic preservation as a painter and restoration crew leader at Monticello, Home of Thomas Jefferson, from 1989 to 1993.
