- Hank Brown
George Hanks "Hank" Brown (born 1940) is a former Republican politician and Senator from Colorado who is currently president of the University of Colorado system. Brown was born in Denver in 1940, and graduated college in 1961 and law school 1969, both from the University of Colorado. He served as an officer in the Navy from 1962 to 1966 and in the Colorado Senate from 1972 to 1976, and was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1980, serving until 1991.

Reed Doughty (born November 4, 1982 in Greeley, Colorado) is a current American football strong safety, who plays for the National Football League's Washington Redskins. He was drafted in round six, pick 173 of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football for the University of Northern Colorado. In Madden NFL 07, one of his player roles in Franchise Mode is First Round Pick, but Doughty was a sixth round pick.

Constance Elaine Trimmer Willis (born 31 December 1945) is an American science fiction writer. She is one of the most honored science fiction writers of the 1980s and 1990s. She has won, among other awards, nine Hugo Awards and six Nebula Awards. Willis most recently won a Hugo Award for "Inside Job" (August 2006). She lives in Greeley, Colorado with her husband, a professor of physics at the University of Northern Colorado. She also has one daughter, Cordelia.

Mike Anderson(Born June 8, 1965) is the head baseball coach at Nebraska. In four years, as the coach, he has compiled a 182-73 record, and has won two Big 12 titles. in 2005, he guided Nebraska to a 57-15 season, which is the best record in school history. That team finished with a school record national ranking of 5. He won Big 12 coach of the Year honors in 2003 and 2005. He has previously served as an assistant with Nebraska from 1995 to 2002.

Patrick "Pat" Haggerty (d. 1994) was an American football official in the National Football League (NFL) from 1965 to 1992. In his 28 seasons in the NFL, he was selected as the referee in three Super Bowls, XIII in 1979, XVI in 1982, and XIX in 1985. He wore the number 40 for most of his career (was number 4 from the 1979 to 1981 NFL seasons when the numbering system for officials was temporarily modified).

John W. Bunn was an American basketball coach and key contributor to the game of basketball. The Wellston, Ohio native played three seasons under coach Phog Allen at University of Kansas while earning his bachelors degree (1917-21). He later became an assistant to Allen for nine seasons (1921-30). In 1930 he became men's basketball head coach at Stanford University, where he coached college all-time great Hank Luisetti.

Steven J. Durham is a former Colorado state politician. He graduated from University of Northern Colorado. He was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Republican in 1974, being re-elected in 1976 and 1979. In 1980 he was elected to the Colorado Senate, and in 1981 appointed a Regional Administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency. He left the post in 1983.
