  1. Sterling Marlin

    Sterling Marlin (born June 30, 1957 in Columbia, Tennessee) is a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series driver who drove the #14 Waste Management Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Ginn Racing until being replaced by Regan Smith July 17, 2007. His future plans are uncertain at this time. He is the son of former NASCAR driver Coo Coo Marlin. Sterling was named after the British Formula One legend Stirling Moss.

  2. Bruce Pearl

    Bruce Pearl is an American college basketball coach who currently serves as the head coach of the University of Tennessee men's basketball team. A native of Boston, Pearl attended Sharon High School in Sharon, Massachusetts and is a 1982 graduate of Boston College. He and his wife, Kim, have two daughters, Jacqui and Leah, and two sons, Steven and Michael.

    Peyton Williams Manning (born March 24, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American football quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts NFL franchise. He is the son of former New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning and Olivia Manning. He is the older brother of current New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and the younger brother of former Ole Miss receiver Cooper Manning, whose college career was cut short by spinal stenosis.

  6. Pat Summitt

    Pat Summitt (born Patricia Sue Head on June 14, 1952 in Clarksville, Tennessee) is the coach of the Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team. She finished her 33rd year of coaching at the end of the 2006-07. All seasons have been with the Lady Vols. Her career coaching record as of (April 3rd, 2007) is 947-180. As a player at the University of Tennessee-Martin, Summitt was an All American and co-captain of the 1976 Olympic basketball team.

  7. Candace Parker

    Candace Nicole Parker (born April 19, 1986 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American collegiate basketball player, playing for the University of Tennessee. She may be best known for being the first woman to dunk in an NCAA tournament game and the first woman to dunk twice in a college game - she set both milestones as a redshirt freshman on March 19, 2006. A uniquely versatile player, she is mainly a forward, but is listed on Tennessee's roster as a forward, center, and guard.

    JaJuan Smith (born December 24, 1985) is a basketball player for the University of Tennessee. During the 2006-2007 season, he averaged 15.2 points per game. He currently is a starter for the team.JaJuan was a Walk-on from McMinn County High School.He may not have been recruited by Tennessee, but he has become an outstanding player who really stepped up his play this year.JaJuan was the key player for several games when Chris Lofton went down with an ankle sprain.

  11. Clarence Brown

    Clarence Brown (May 10, 1890 - August 17, 1987) was an American film director. Born in Clinton, Massachusetts, to a cotton manufacturer, Brown moved to the South when he was eleven. He attended the University of Tennessee, graduating at the age of 19 with two degrees in engineering. An early fascination in automobiles led Brown to a job with the Stevens Duryea Company, then to his own Brown Motor Car Company in Alabama.

    Travis Deion Henry (born October 29, 1978 in Frostproof, Florida) is an American football running back who currently plays for the Denver Broncos. He went to the University of Tennessee. His nicknames include T-Hen and Cheese (due to his heavy build).

  13. David Cutcliffe

    David Cutcliffe (born September 16, 1954) is the offensive coordinator for the University of Tennessee Volunteers and the former head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels. He is best-known for coaching Peyton Manning at Tennessee and Eli Manning at Ole Miss and for producing record setting offenses at both schools. Almost all offensive records at both schools were set during Cutcliffe's time as coach. As a head coach, he had compiled a career record of 44-29.

  14. Jamal Lewis

    Jamal Lafitte Lewis (born August 26, 1979 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American football running back in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns. He attended the University of Tennessee and wears number 31. Lewis was the fifth pick overall in the 2000 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens and in his rookie season, rushed for over 1,000 yards, supplanting Priest Holmes as the team's starting RB.

  15. Heath Shuler

    Joseph Heath Shuler (born December 31, 1971) is an American politician and former professional football player. On November 7, 2006 Shuler was elected to the United States House of Representatives to represent North Carolina's 11th congressional district (map). Shuler defeated 8-term Republican incumbent Charles H. Taylor. The district, based in Asheville, North Carolina, includes most of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina.

  17. Winfield Dunn

    Bryant Winfield Culberson Dunn (born July 1, 1927) was governor of Tennessee from 1971 to 1975. Dunn was born in Meridian, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1950 with a B.B.A., and from the University of Tennessee Medical Units in Memphis in 1955 with a D.D.S. Dunn served with the U.S. Navy in the Asia-Pacific Theatre during World War II. Dunn was also a reserve lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.

  18. Johnny Majors

    Johnny Majors (born May 21, 1935 in Lynchburg, Tennessee), was a longtime College Football Head Coach and alumnus of the University of Tennessee. Majors was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame (as a player) in 1987.

  19. Albert Haynesworth

    Albert Haynesworth (born June 17, 1981) is a current American football defensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League. He went to Hartsville High School in Hartsville, South Carolina, and was recruited to the University of Tennessee. He is best known for stomping on the forehead of Dallas Cowboys center Andre Gurode in a game early in the 2006 NFL season. Haynesworth played college football in the University of Tennessee.

    Jonathan David Crompton is an American Football Quarterback for the University of Tennessee. Crompton is a former Parade All-American and was a back up Quarterback to Vols starter Erik Ainge in 2006. While Ainge was injured he deputised as starting Quarterback in losses against LSU and Arkansas.

    John Ward is a former radio broadcaster at the University of Tennessee from 1968 until 1999. Ward received a law degree in 1954 at the University of Tennessee's main campus in Knoxville. Shortly after, he decided to go into radio and advertising. Ward's first broadcast of a UT basketball game came in 1958. Shortly after, he joined the Army. After returning to Knoxville, Ward went to work at an advertising agency.

    Barton Jennings Gordon, (born January 24, 1949) is a politician from the state of Tennessee, representing the state's 6th Congressional district (map) in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a Democrat. The district takes in several rural areas and fast-growing suburbs east of Nashville. With the Democrats' victory in the 2006 midterm elections, Gordon has been named as chairman of the House Science Committee.

  25. Gerald Riggs

    Gerald Antonio Riggs (born November 6, 1960 in Tullos, Louisiana) is a former American football running back in the NFL. He spent seven seasons with the Atlanta Falcons from 1982-1988 and three with the Washington Redskins from 1989-1991. Before his NFL career, he attended Arizona State University. A superb rusher and pass receiver out of the backfield, Riggs made the Pro Bowl three times in his career from 1985 to 1987.

Reynolds is often described as conservative, but he holds liberal views on social issues such as abortion, the War on Drugs and gay marriage.

  29. Jason Witten

    Jason Witten (born May 6, 1982 in Elizabethton, Tennessee) is an American football player who currently plays as a tight end for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. He attended the University of Tennessee. In 2004 Witten was selected to the Pro Bowl, thanks to his 87 catches which were 11th most in history by a tight end, and a Cowboys team record. Witten was also named to his second and third Pro Bowl's for his performance in the 2005 and 2006 regular seasons.

    Deon D'Marquis Grant (born March 14, 1979) is a cornerback/safety for the Seattle Seahawks.
