- Don Maynard
Don Maynard (Born January 25, 1935, in Crosbyton, Texas) was an American football player who played collegiately for Texas Western College (now University of Texas at El Paso) and professionally with the National Football League's New York Giants and the American Football League's New York Jets. After having been released by the Giants, Maynard became the very first player to sign with the New York Titans in 1960 (the team was renamed the Jets in 1963).

Wilford Daniel "Danny" White (born February 9, 1952) is an American football coach in the Arena Football League and also occasionally appears as an analyst on broadcasts of college football games. He was named the head coach of the Arena Football League expansion Utah Blaze, which began play in 2006. Prior to that, he served as the head coach of the Arizona Rattlers from 1992 to 2004, winning the ArenaBowl championship in 1994 and 1997.

Daryle Lamonica (born July 17, 1941 in Fresno, California) was a college and professional American football quarterback who played in the American Football League, and later in the National Football League. Lamonica lettered in four sports at Clovis High School, was an All-State Quarterback, and turned down a professional baseball contract with the Chicago Cubs. Clovis High School renamed its football stadium Lamonica Stadium in 1970.

Calvin Hill (born January 2 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a retired American football running back who had a 12-year NFL career from 1969 to 1981. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and Cleveland Browns. In 1975 he moved to the WFL to play for The Hawaiians. Hill was named to the Pro Bowl team 4 times (1969, 1972, 1973 and 1974).

James Solomon "Jim" Nance (December 30 1942 - June 16 1992) was a fullback with the Boston Patriots during their days in the American Football League. Starting for three years at Syracuse University, he tied the school record for career touchdowns (13) and led the Orange in rushing in 1964, scoring in ten straight games. In 1963 and 1965 Jim Nance was the NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion and received All-America honors.

Miller Farr Jr. (born April 8, 1943 in Beaumont, Texas) was an American football cornerback who played for ten seasons in the AFL and NFL. He attended Wichita State University, lettering in football and track. In his senior year, he led the nation in kickoff and punt returns. He is a member of a family of athletes and artists, including a brother and cousins, football players Mel Farr, Lem Barney, and Jerry LeVias, and cousin, singer Marvin Gaye.

Leroy Kelly (born May 20, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was an American football player. A Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, he played for the Cleveland Browns from 1964-73. During his 10-year NFL career, the 6-foot, 202-pound running back rushed for 7,274 yards and 74 touchdowns, on 1,727 carries. He also caught 190 passes for 2,281 yards and 13 touchdowns. On special teams, he returned 94 punts for 990 yards and 3 touchdowns, and 76 kickoffs for 1,784 yards.

John Huarte (born April 6, 1944 in Anaheim, California) played American football for the University of Notre Dame after graduating from Mater Dei High School, Santa Ana. During his sophomore and junior years at Notre Dame, John played for only a few minutes per game. As a senior, however, John became the starting quarterback as the Fighting Irish won all but one game during the 1964 season, in which he won the Heisman Trophy.

Jerry Lee Tagge (born April 12 1950) is a former football quarterback. As the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers' quarterback, he led his team to national titles in 1970 and 1971, was named Orange Bowl Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1971 and 1972 and shared honors as Hula Bowl MVP with Walt Patulski of Notre Dame. Additionally, Tagge was an All-American in 1971 and is a member of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Hall of Fame.
