Liya Kebede (born January 3, 1978, in Addis Ababa) is an Ethiopian supermodel who has appeared on the cover of US "Vogue" twice.

Senait Ashenafi is an Ethiopian-born actress in the United States who played Keesha Ward on "General Hospital" from 1994 to 1998. She has also worked as a dancer, singer, and model. Born in Addis Ababa, she moved to the US with her family, where she studied at Florida State University. She is an amazing actress who has worked on General Hospital, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and A Different World.

Attended acting lessons at the Neighborhood Playhouse and the School of Theater in New York. Has lived in Berlin since 1968. Is a vegetarian and PETA activist. Longtime companion of director Carlo Rola. Is of Ethiophian descent.
