    Ridge Canipe (born July 13, 1994 in Laguna Beach, California) is an American child actor. Ridge is best known for his roles in "Walk the Line" (as young Johnny Cash) and the 2005 version of "Bad News Bears". Mr. Chavez received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1999. While at McGeorge, he was admitted to the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society on May 15, 1998. Mr. Chavez was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999.
