- Karl Dorrell
Karl Dorrell (b. December 18, 1963 in Alameda, California) is the first black head coach in the history of the UCLA Bruins college football team, a position he took on December 18, 2002. He attended Helix High School in La Mesa, California, where he was a two-time all-league selection and a honorable mention All-America as a senior. He led Helix to the CIF San Diego Section title in 1980 and to second place in 1981. He is married and has two children.

- Peter J. Cutino
Peter J. Cutino was a legendary California swimming and water polo coach and educator for over 40 years, and the author of several books and numerous articles on coaching aquatic sports. In his 26 years as Head Coach at the University of California, Berkeley, he was the all-time winning coach in U.S. water polo history; his Cal teams won eight NCAA titles.

Anthony Lawrence Azevedo (born November 21, 1981 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is an American water polo player and a graduate of Stanford University. Nicknamed "The Savior" at one point, he is considered to be one of the best American water polo players in recent memory. Although he was born in Brazil, his family moved to California when he was 1 month old. When he was four, Azevedo suffered a fall that severed his trachea and esophagus.

Tony Corrente has been an American football official in the National Football League (NFL) since 1995. He wears the uniform number 99. He most recently refereed Super Bowl XLI. Tony began his officiating career in 1971 working high school and junior college level games. Between 1971 and 1981, Corrente officiated three California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Championships and seven Junior College Bowl games.

Tyrone Culver (born July 6, 1983 in Palmdale, California) is a professional American football player who currently plays for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. A 6'1", 200 lb defensive back from Fresno State, Culver was selected by the Packers in the sixth round (185th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. Culver attended Palmdale High School in Palmdale, California and won All-League and All-CIF honors.
- John Paye
John Paye is a former NFL quarterback and high school basketball coach. A graduate of Menlo School in Atherton, California, Paye lettered in baseball, basketball, and football. In his senior year of 1983, Menlo won the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division II basketball championship. One of Paye's teammates was Eric Reveno, who played with Paye on Stanford's basketball team and is currently the head basketball coach at the University of Portland.

Ericka Denise Lorenz (born February 18, 1981 in San Diego, California) is an American water polo player, who won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She also won a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Nicknamed "E", Lorenz attended Patrick Henry High School (San Diego, California) and was named first team All-American in water polo in 1997, '98 and '99.
- Irv Ray
Ray came to UCR from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where he had great success. In the fall he coached the school’s first ever individual conference champion in cross country. In outdoor track his women’s team finished fourth, and men’s team sixth in the Mid Continent Conference. He had three student-athletes compete at the NCAA track and field regional, and had a fourth named Verizon/CoSida Academic All American First Team.

Bryan Wallace His coaching career began at Etiwanda High School (Eagles) 1996-1998. He was the varsity coach for two years and led them to the Mt. Baldy League championship in 1998 and the California Interscholastic Federation quarterfinals. He also served as an assistant coach for the Jamaican U17 National team through World Cup qualifying in 2002-2004.
- Anthony Monreal
Dr. Anthony Monreal is the Deputy Superintendent of the Curriculum and Instruction Branch. He oversees eight divisions that encompass the full continuum of education and related services in California public schools. The work of these divisions impacts individuals from early childhood to older adulthood. Dr. Monreal serves as the Immediate Past President of the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators.
- Ricardo Azevedo
Ricardo Azevedo 1st Assistant National Team Coach Since 1992, Ricardo Azevedo has been the 1st Assistant Coach of the US Mens Water Polo team. He will also serve as assistant Olympic coach at the 1996 Games. Azevedo is head water polo coach and language teacher at Long Beach Wilson High School, where his team has a 142-28 record. In 1994, he was voted California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) "Coach of the Year."

He has coached the Hartland Swim Team and was the head girls' Aquatics coach at Valencia High School in California for 5 years. He had a successful first year at Tates Creek High School coaching to a 6th place finish at state. He also was the outstanding boys' and girls' coach for Region 5 in 2007.
