  14. Nathan

Hey there. Mostly I'm an art nerd. I like film and literature. My passion is for comics, comic books. Can't get enough of them. Study them, write them, draw them, paint them, everything. If you don't know much about comics, don't feel bad, you're like everybody else...but that doesn't mean you shouldn't learn about them some. There's not really that much more to tell without stretching it too thin.

  15. Sam

  20. Sal Cipriano

Hey, I'm Sal. Born and bred in Brooklyn, raised on comics, now I work on them in one way or another while balancing the million hours that I spend managing an art supply store in NYC. Here's a little breakdown of what I've done: Phase 1 of my "comics career" included making zines, minicomics, webcomics, and anthologies. Most notably among them were Broken Donuts, Altered Realities, and The Guy.

  27. Mojo Texas

It's better, I think, if I just tell a joke here. A Priest, a Rabbi, and a Buddhist Monk walk into a bar, the bartender looks up and says, "What is this, a joke?" I will tell you that myspace profile is a little empty because I can't be bothered to move stuff over from friendster where I am.

THE STORY: Ace Hazzard spent his youth dreaming of becoming a professional wrestler. When finally achieving that goal, he finds out there's a tremendous gap between his dreams and his reality. Ace isn't a big name superstar with his face on t-shirts and lunch boxes, instead he is a member of a group of wrestlers known as "jobbers". No-name wrestlers whose sole job, while solid workers in the ring, is to lose to the big name wrestlers and make them look good.

  31. Joshua Dysart

I'm a mystic-Christian–Satanist-Sufi octopus (with eight minds instead of tentacles) who reads the kabala while on the toilet. My cerebellum is the size of a circular staircase, albeit one in a small dollhouse. I'm Left of goddamned Lenin. I've sailed to the edge of the world in a bathtub. I believe the yeti is in your mind, but that doesn't make it less real. I am small change... just another drop of water in the ocean.

  32. Rick Spears

    Yo Ho!

  33. Ian

I'm a very laid back, low maitenance guy with a great (yet weird) sense of humor. I love to laugh more than anything. I have edited comic books for Oni Press (including BLUE MONDAY, QUEEN & COUNTRY, LOVE FIGHTS, HOPELESS SAVAGES, and SCOOTER GIRL) for over two years now and am now writing my own comics to be released in 2005: STRANGETOWN (with Chynna Clugston) and SHENANIGANS.

  38. Matt Of Matt

I spent 8 months in complete isolation and decided that I wanted to be a writer. Everytime I close my eyes I see pictures in black and white, they remind me that i'm almost human. I write comic books to cope. Cereal and cigarettes start the day off right. I'm not really from anywhere and I wave my flag with pride. Alcohol has been a good friend to me, I like the way he thinks. Someday I'll make a film, it'll be about vampires and small towns.

  39. Jon

I like friends to leave comments, so leave one.

  40. Josh
