1. Cynthia Gibb

    Cynthia Gibb (born December 14, 1963 in Bennington, Vermont, USA) is an American actress and former model who has starred in film and on television. Cynthia got her big break at the age of 14 when she was discovered by the Eileen Ford Agency in New York City. She was on the cover of Vogue and Young Miss. Fate then intervened, as director Woody Allen saw her in one of those magazines and gave her first film role in the 1980 movie "Stardust Memories".

  2. Miles Corbet

    Miles Corbet (1595 - 1662) was a puritan MP for Yarmouth, England, and played a part in the regicide of Charles I, as the 59th (and last) of the signatories of the King's death warrant. After the Restoration of Charles II of England in 1660, all the 59 men who had signed the death warrant for Charles I were in grave danger as they were considered regicides. Miles Corbet, like many of the 59, fled England. He went to the Netherlands where he thought he would be safe.

    Harry 'Breaker' Harbord Morant was an Anglo-Australian drover, horseman, poet, and soldier whose renowned skill with horses earned him the nickname "The Breaker." Articulate, intelligent, and well educated, he was also a published poet and became one of the better-known "back-block bards" of the 1890s, with the bulk of his work appearing in "The Bulletin" magazine.

  4. John Barkstead

    John Barkstead was an English Major-General and Regicide, (d.1662). A London goldsmith and Congregationalist, Barkstead joined Parliament's army as a captain of foot in Colonel Venn's regiment at the start of the English Civil War. He was governor of Reading from July 1644 until January 1647, when he was appointed colonel of an infantry regiment in the New Model Army.   5. Guilford Dudley

    Lord Guilford Dudley (sometimes spelled "Guildford") (1536 - 12 February, 1554) was a son of John Dudley, 1st Duke of Northumberland, and Jane Guilford; and the younger brother of Robert Dudley, the future Earl of Leicester. The unusual first name derives from his mother's family name. His father became the leader of the Privy Council after the execution of Lord Protector Edward Seymour, 1st Duke of Somerset, during the reign of King Edward VI of England.

  7. Peter Temple

    Peter Temple was a regicide, c.1599-1663. Born at Sibson, Leicestershire, he was apprenticed to a linen draper, but inherited his family's estate at Temple Hall in Leicestershire after the deaths of his two older brothers. Temple was appointed to the Militia Committee for Leicestershire in January 1643 and became Sheriff of Leicestershire the following year. He held a military commission under Lord Grey of Groby, but was accused of cowardice.

  8. James Temple

    James Temple was a regicide, 1606-c.1674. Only surviving son of Sir Alexander Temple of Etchingham in Sussex. In 1627, Temple participated in the Duke of Buckingham's ill-fated expedition to the Isle of Rhé, during which his older brother was killed. During the 1630s, he was associated with the Puritan gentry of Sussex. When the First English Civil War broke out in 1642, he served as captain of a troop of horse under his uncle Lord Saye and Sele in the Midlands.

  9. John Danvers

    Sir John Danvers (1588-1655) was an English politician. Danvers was knighted by James I of England and sat as a Member of Parliament for Oxford University from 1625 to 1639. During the English Civil War he was a colonel in the Parliamentarian army. He was one of the signatories of the death warrant of Charles I. In his youth, he travelled through France and Italy, developing sophisticated tastes in gardening and architecture, which he indulged at his house in Chelsea.
