It's been a little over a year since I moved to Alaska, and I haven't left since... Great times up here. Freshman year of college behind me, as well as an awesome summer in Denali National Park with some great people. Will definately be back there at sometime. Now another year of school, just taking it as it comes and not hoping for to much, you can't be disappointed that way. "Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel.

"I sing because it feels good. As one sound starts bubbling up from my belly and resonating in the cathedral of my chest, it feels as if the whole earth is breaking open and that a river is running up my serpent spine until the gate of my heart is sprung and I wiggle free from this tight suit of skin. When I sing, something bigger than just me emerges, chanting the life force in an ancient language of me, breath and rhythm.

I've been off the map for awhile. Spent the summer in Alaska and then I snuck off to Thailand with my friend Chelsey. Now I'm off to Central America. It be gettin cold roun here.

it is churlish to talk about one's self. but i will say this. i want to achieve immortality. i don't mean in the sense of fame and i don't mean not departing. i want to be what that conception really is. substance. many long to be eternal, but expire with every day that passes. when you meet them, they're not what you met last. in any given hour, parts of them vanish. they change, they deny, they contradict-and they call it growth.

I am a permanent third wheel. Oh well, who else would want the job? I also suck at moderation. I should probably be interested in something awesome...like sex. Or presidents. Instead, I like to travel. A lot. I'm really good at going places and then leaving them after about 3 or 4 months. College didn't work out so well for the aforementioned reason. No worries though, folks, I'll be going back in January.

if you are going to try and add me to your friends list, and we do not already know each other, you better be prepared to explain why you want to be my friend, and you better make it good. i do NOT add random people who do not show significant interest in me personally. wow, we both play the guitar, big fuckin' whoop. oh wow, you like amsterdam. kiss my ass, because i don't like it, people just call me 'amsterDAN' because i live near the place.

Pro musician living and working around the world. Grew up in Illinois, honed some chops in Memphis, got chased by Moose in Alaska, produced an album in St. Louis, toured with "A Christmas Carol," and drummed in Ghana with the Dzanyonmo Dance Group when not teaching English. I'm back in Denali National Park for another wonderful summer! I've got my sights set on NYC in 2008, and probably a trip to Asia. Ever heard of Taiko drumming? It's pretty awesome.

I was born in the Netherlands and lived there shortly until I was five years old. My parents then decided to move to the U.S.A. We moved to Provo,Utah (unfortunately). I lived there until I was 21 and now I'm living in Denali National Park, Alaska. I used to be very ignorant about the world around me and had a very biased opinion to drugs and anything else. My views and beliefs have changed very much over the past 7 years.

I used to move a lot. For a few years I didn't live anywhere for very long. Since my escape from Oklahoma, I've lived and/or worked in quite a few places for a month or more: Arizona, Arkansas, Mexico, New Mexico, Montana, Texas, Utah and Alaska. I've worked as a hunting guide, a landscaper, a photographer, but mostly on trail crews for the National Park Service.

I enjoy anything outdoors, such as mountaineering, rock and ice climbing, snowboarding, snowmachining, and what ever else. I live in Alaska part time working for Denali National Park. This winter I'm back in Antarctica again working. When I leave here I plan to travel in New Zealand, Australia and maybe Asia. Then back to Alaska for work.

I'm well travelled. I have been to Alaska, Texas, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Michigan, Chicago, France, Belgium, New Zealand. This spring I will be in Oregon and Washington. I have had many outdoor adventures. I like traveling in the back pocket of my friend Nicole's backpack. Everywhere I go people like to know all about me. Women like to flirt with me and I make friends easily. I always have a smile on my face and am easy to get along with.
