  1. Kevin Sheedy

    Kevin John Sheedy AM (born December 24, 1947) is the current coach of AFL club Essendon, and a former player for Richmond. Sheedy was the quintessential self-made player. Not blessed with great skills, he was able to carve out a brilliant career with dedication, perseverance and thoughtfulness. At his peak, he was a supreme big-game performer who epitomised the "kill or be killed" attitude of the Richmond club.

  5. Dick Reynolds

    Richard Sylvannus Reynolds (June 20, 1915 - September 2, 2002), known as Dick Reynolds, was an Australian rules football player and coach. He played for, captained and coached the Essendon Bombers in the VFL/AFL competition for nearly three decades. He played from 1933 until 1951, captain coaching the side from 1939 until 1950, and coaching after his retirement from 1951 until 1960.

    Mark Johnson (born May 23, 1978) is an Australian rules footballer. Known for his toughness, he is part of the midfield duo known as the "Johnson Boys" at the Essendon Football Club, the other member being Jason Johnson. The two are not related, however Mark does have a brother who plays in the AFL for Geelong, David Johnson. Johnson is commonly known as "Mr. Sunbury", referring to the body building award he won as a teenager in his home town of Sunbury, Victoria.

    Dustin Fletcher (born May 7, 1975) is an Australian rules footballer with the Essendon Football Club. He is renowned as one of the finest defenders in the AFL, and has held down a spot at full-back for his team for many years. He is the son of former Bombers player Ken Fletcher.     "Smokin'" Joe Misiti (born November 9, 1974) was an Australian rules football player of Italian descent who played for the Essendon Bombers. Originally from Keilor Park, he made his debut in 1992, and retired at the end of the 2004 Premiership Season, in the same year as fellow Bomber veteran favourites Mark Mercuri and Sean Wellman.     Scott Gumbleton (born 3 August 1988) is an Australian rules footballer in the AFL, currently on the list for the Essendon Football Club. He was picked up at Draft Pick Number 2 in the 2006 AFL Draft. He made his debut for the Sydney Swans in Round 1, 2006, ironically against his former teammates at Essendon.
