    Christopher David Naylor, D.Phil, MD (born 1954 in Woodstock, Ontario) is a medical researcher and president of the University of Toronto. A Rhodes Scholar, Naylor received an MD from the University of Toronto in 1978, proceeding to Hertford College, University of Oxford, where he earned a D.Phil in 1983 in the Department of Social and Administrative Studies.

  3. Walter MacKenzie

    Walter C. Mackenzie, O.C., (1909-1978) was a Canadian surgeon and academic. He was a professor and chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Medicine. From 1959 to 1973, he was Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. In 1949, he was a founding director and shareholder of the Edmonton Eskimos. In 1970, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada "for his contribution to surgery and medical education".

    Arnold Naimark, O.C., O.M., M.D., B.Sc.Med., M.Sc., F.R.C.P.(C), F.R.S.C., LL.D., (born 1933) is a Canadian physician, academic, and former President of the University of Manitoba. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he received a B.Sc.Med. degree in 1957, a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1957, and a Master of Science degree in 1959 from the University of Manitoba. In 1963, he joined the faculty of the University of Manitoba as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Physiology.

    Sir Malcolm Green was the lately vice-president faculty of medicine at Imperial College London and head of National Heart and Lung Institute. Emeritus Professor Malcolm Green DM FRCP from the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI) in the Faculty of Medicine was made a Knight Bachelor for services to medicine in the 2007 Queen's New Year Honours list. Green began his career at Oxford University followed by St Thomas' Hospital Medical School.

    Sudarshan (Sudi) Devanesen, CM (born 1943), is an Indian-Canadian family physician and educator, public health activist, and member of the Order of Canada. Devanesen studied at Bishop Cotton Boy's School in Bangalore, Madras Christian College of the University of Madras, and the Christian Medical College in Vellore, all in India. Trained as a surgeon, began his medical practice in remote villages in Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. In 1972, he immigrated to Canada.

    Georges-Fernand-Isidor Widal was a French physician. From 1886 to 1888 he devoted himself to public demonstrations of the researches of the faculty of pathological anatomy, and during the 2 years following was in charge of a course in bacteriology in the laboratory of Professor Victor André Cornil. In 1895 he was appointed visiting physician to the hospitals of Paris, and in 1904 became an instructor in the faculty of medicine.
