Amanda has worked in the national security policy arena since 2001, when she organized the international conference, “Preserving an Open Society in an Age of Terror,” on the issue of balancing public safety and civil liberties sponsored by the Center for Strategic International Studies and Scientific American magazine.

Nick Hornby was born in 1957 and is the author of Fever Pitch, High Fidelity, About A Boy, How To Be Good, 31 Songs and A Long Way Down He also edited the collection of short stories, Speaking With The Angel, and is the pop music critic for the New Yorker. In 1999, Hornby was awarded the E.M.Forster award by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Hornby is a graduate of Cambridge University and was a teacher and reviewer before starting to write full time.

Ambassador David Reddaway CMG David Reddaway was appointed British Ambassador to Ireland in 2006. He was born in Canada and is a graduate of Cambridge University, where he obtained his BA and MA in History. He has represented Britain in Tehran, Madrid, New Delhi, Argentina and Afghanistan. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University.

Clare Boyden : B.Ed. : Key Stage 1 Coordinator and Primary Year 1 Teacher. Claire is a graduate of Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches. Initially she taught at a Junior School in Essex but has most recently been a class teacher and PE coordinator for KS 1 and 2 at Ipswich High School. She enjoys travelling and is a great outdoors person engaging in windsurfing and scuba diving.

Professor John Barsby , who is a graduate of Cambridge University , retired from the Chair of Classics in January 2002. He has taught widely in Greek and Latin language and literature; on the research side he has written articles on Catullus and Propertius as well as books on Ovid, Plautus, and Terence. He has recently completed a new Loeb edition of Terence and edited a collection of essays on Greek and Roman drama. He is currently working on a general book on Terence.

From 1996 to 2006, Mr. Webber was the Chief Financial Officer and a director of CP Ships Limited, a subsidiary of Canadian Pacific Limited until 2001 and thereafter a public company listed on the New York and Toronto stock exchanges until its acquisition by TUI A.G. in 2005.
