I was born in a decrepit mill town on a blustry winter's day to a paper tube salesman and a would be curio-peddler. Not long after, I discovered that I had the mysterious ability to command swarms of bees by dancing haphazardly. Armed with this knowledge, I purchased a set of leg warmers and a copy of the Flashbeagle original television special soundtrack. Outside, gyrating to the melodies I gathered to myself an army of enamored bees.

Robyn Simms recently performed her two-woman show, "Two Non-Blondes" here at the Second City Theater. She does improv around LA with Chicks-n-Salsa, and is the host of a children's cooking show, "Mango's Kitchen." Besides Second City Conservatory, Robyn is also a graduate of Emerson College. Aimee McKay began improvising while living in London, England where she sold used American vacuum cleaners over the phone to pay for classes. A graduate of Emerson College, some of her theatre credits include "The Vagina Monologues," "TheatreSports," "The Dirty Half Dozen," "Shibboleth," "Mr. Sir" and "Lipshtick." Aimee is wicked proud of the two-woman sketch show "Two-Faced" which was part of the Second City Unhinged series.

Amy is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received her Bachelor's degree in writing, literature, and publishing. She currently handles program coordination for the Global Center for Health Economics and Policy Research, including all aspects of research administration, conferences, and office management. She also administers the center's training program. Amy comes from a background in academic publishing and human resources.

Shannon Myers , Youth Center Coordinator Shannon Myers comes to Project YES through its partnership with the YMCA of Boulder Valley, where she currently serves as Teen Programs Coordinator. Shannon is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, MA, receiving her BS in Political Communications while completing extensive coursework in service learning and community development.

Peggy Bowe : (Needlework) Holyoke native, Peggy Bowe , is a self-proclaimed needlework addict. Introduced to embroidery by her grandparents as a child, she has been stitching most of her life. In the early ‘70s she took classes at HCAC (back when it was the Holyoke Home Information Center) and has since studied various needlework techniques with numerous nationally known instructors and designers.

Her other involvements include, The Wedding Singer, Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life, Brooklyn the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, and the National Tour of Eve Ensler’s The Good Body.

Danielle Cheriff - Assistant Teacher, Pre-K I Danielle has been at The Mandell School since 2003. She is a graduate of Emerson College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a concentration in film. Her prior teaching experience includes working at an after school program and as a summer camp counselor. Danielle is currently pursuing her master's degree in early childhood education at Bank Street College.

John Truscinski John Truscinski is a Brooklyn, NYC based percussionist and sound engineer. A 1998 graduate of Emerson College in Media Arts, John has spent much of his time working as a sound engineer at Slaughterhouse Recording Studios in Hadley, MA. In recent years, he has recorded and performed extensively with Slaughterhouse Percussion Duo and x04, an improvised trio using prepared guitar and percussion instruments.

Prior to founding AMINEX in 1990, Lisa worked for a National Recruiting firm in the Insurance and Actuarial field.

Colette Bachand Wood is a graduate of Emerson College and currently senior correspondent with Travel Publications of Boston, a company which publishes "Travel New England" newspaper, the "Boston Airport Journal," and the "Boston South Station Journal." Wood also co-hosts a travel writing seminar for Emerson College students each year at the college's European Center at Castle Well in the Netherlands.
