1. Christopher Bowman

    Christopher Bowman (born March 30, 1967 in Hollywood, CA) is an American figure skater. Known as "Bowman the Showman", he is a two-time U.S. National Champion. He is also a two-time medalist at the World Figure Skating Championships and competed in two Olympic Games. Before his skating career, he was a child actor. During his career, he was trained by Frank Carroll, Toller Cranston, and John Nicks.

    Robin Cousins (born August 17, 1957 in Bristol) is a British figure skater who won a gold medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics.   3. Donna Atwood

    Donna Atwood (born 1922) was an American figure skater. She competed in pair skating and won the gold medal at the 1941 United States Figure Skating Championships with partner Eugene Turner. She went on to a long career skating professionally with the Ice Capades.

  4. Richard Callaghan

    Richard Callaghan is an American figure skating coach. He is best known as the long-time coach of Todd Eldredge, 6-time U.S. Champion and 1996 World Champion. He also coached Nicole Bobek to her national title, and Tara Lipinski to U.S., World, and Olympic titles. As a competitive skater, Callaghan was coached by Don Laws. His best finish was 5th at the 1965 U.S. Championships.

  5. Sarah Kawahara

    Sarah Kawahara is a Canadian figure skater and choreographer. She won an Emmy Award in 1997 for Scott Hamilton Upside Down and was the first skater to win the Best Choreography Emmy. She won her second Emmy in 2002 for choreographing the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics. She joined the Ice Capades at age 17 and skated with them for seven years. She currently lives in California.

    Frank Carroll is an American figure skating coach and former competitive skater. He coached Michelle Kwan for ten years and is currently the primary coach of Evan Lysacek and Beatrisa Liang, among others.

  7. Megan Taylor

    Megan Taylor (1920 - 1993) was a British figure skater competitive in the 1930s. She won the World Championships in 1938 and 1939. Taylor's father was Phil Taylor, a speed skater. Megan and fellow Brit Cecilia Colledge participated in the 1932 Winter Olympics. They were virtually the same age--Colledge was 11 years and 75 days old, and Taylor was 11 years and 108 days. They are the youngest ever competitors in any Olympic sport.

  8. Tom Dickson

    Tom Dickson is an American figure skater who currently works as a coach and choreographer. During his eligible career, he won the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at junior level in 1980; at the senior level, he placed 5th at the 1984 Championships. He also won Nebelhorn Trophy in 1980. After his competitive career, Dickson skated with Ice Capades. He started doing skating choreography when his former coach, Carlo Fassi, asked him to work with Chen Lu in 1991.

  9. David Wilson

    David Wilson is a Canadian former figure skater who currently works as a choreographer. As a skater, his competitive career was cut short when he was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease. Following surgery on his knee, then 18-year-old Wilson toured with Ice Capades in North America and then with Holiday On Ice in Europe. With his then-partner, Jean-Pierre Boyer, the openly gay Wilson settled in Montreal and began working as a choreographer.

  10. Peter Foy

    Peter Foy (11 June 1925-17 February 2005) was the stage flight effects specialist who founded "Flying by Foy", most widely known for its work flying actors in the play "Peter Pan".   11. Priscilla Hill

    Priscilla Hill is a former American figure skater who currently works as a coach. She passed her eighth figure test and gold freestyle test at the age of nine, possibly the youngest person ever to do so. In 1972, at age 11, she was the youngest senior lady ever to compete at the United States Figure Skating Championships. She won the bronze medal at the U. S. Figure Skating Championships in 1978 and the silver in 1981.

  12. Ingrid Wendl

    Ingrid Turković-Wendl is an Austrian figure skater, television announcer, and political figure. She has been an Austrian People's Party delegate to the National Council of Austria since 2002. Turković-Wendl is the 1956 and 1958 European Figure Skating Championships gold medalist, and the 1956 Winter Olympics bronze medalist in ladies' figure skating. Among her contemporaries were fellow Austrians Hanna Eigel and Hanna Walter.

  13. Donald Knight

    Donald Knight is the 1965-1967 Canadian national champion in men's singles. He won the North American Figure Skating Championships in 1967, having placed third in the previous competition, in 1965. Knight also won the bronze medal at the World Figure Skating Championships in 1965. After retiring from competitive skating, Knight toured for 11 years as a Principal Performer with Ice Capades and Holiday on Ice in Europe.

  14. Skippy Baxter

    Skippy Baxter is an American figure skater. He won two medals at the 1940 United States Figure Skating Championships: a bronze in men's singles and a silver in pair skating with Hedy Stenuf. Baxter went on to skate professionally with the Ice Capades. Baxter choreographed a segment for the 1969 animated film "A Boy Named Charlie Brown", in which "Snoopy" skates.

  15. Freddy Wittop

    Freddy Wittop was a Tony Award-winning costume designer. He also enjoyed secondary careers as a dancer and college professor. Born Frederick Wittop Koning in Bussum, the Netherlands, Wittop emigrated with his family to Brussels, where he apprenticed at the age of thirteen with the resident designer at the Brussels Opera. Moving to Paris in 1931, he designed for the Folies Bergère and other music halls, creating costumes for Mistinguett and Josephine Baker, among others.

  16. Tracey Wainman

    Tracey Wainman is a Canadian figure skater. She won the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in 1981 and 1986. Wainman first came to international prominence at the age of 12 in 1980, when she placed third at the Canadian Championships and was controversially selected to compete as Canada's sole entry in the ladies event at that year's World Figure Skating Championships instead of either of the two older skaters who had placed ahead of her in the national event.

  17. Virginia Baxter

    Virginia "Ginny" Baxter (born 1932) was an American figure skater from Detroit. She won the bronze medal at the United States Figure Skating Championships three times and captured the bronze at the 1952 World Figure Skating Championships (competition held March 1). She was also part of Ice Capades' 1953 show called "Land of Lollipops".

  18. Vivi-Anne Hultén

    Vivi-Anne Hultén was a Swedish figure skater who was a ten time national champion in ladies singles. She finished fifth at the 1932 Winter Olympics and then won the bronze medal at the 1936 Games. However, during most of her competitive career, she was overshadowed by rival Sonja Henie. After turning professional, Hultén toured with the Ice Follies and Ice Capades. She married fellow skater Gene Theslof and later relocated to the United States.

  19. Milt Josefsberg

    Milt Josefsberg (29 June, 1911 - 14 December, 1987) was a radio writer for Jack Benny and later for many television sitcoms, such as "Archie Bunker's Place", "All in the Family", "Here's Lucy", "The Lucy Show", and "The Jack Benny Show".
