  2. Mike Binder

    Mike Binder (born 1958) is an American screenwriter, film director and actor. A native of Detroit, Mike Binder grew up in a Jewish community within Birmingham, one of the city's suburbs, and attended Camp Tamakwa, on which he based his 1993 film "Indian Summer". Binder began his career as a standup comedian. This led to his own HBO "One Night Stand" special. Binder's first screenplay, "Coupe de Ville" (1990), was directed by Joe Roth.

    John Knowles (September 16, 1926 - November 29, 2001), b. Fairmont, West Virginia, was an American novelist, best known for his novel "A Separate Peace". A 1945 graduate of the Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, Knowles graduated from Yale University as a member of the class of 1949W. "A Separate Peace" is based upon Knowles' experiences at Exeter during the summer of 1943.

    Robert 'Bob' Jackson (born 6 January 1948, Coventry, England), is a keyboardist/guitarist whose career has been interwoven with various rock and pop bands since the early 1970s. Jackson formed his first professional rock group in 1969, called "Indian Summer." The group released the album "Indian Summer" in 1971, and then disbanded the following year. Jackson joined John Entwistle's new band "Rigor Mortis" in 1972 and played on their debut tour.

In his playing career he was a defender, with long-term spells at Fulham and West Ham United, famously being contentiously sent-off in the 1991 FA Cup semi-final.

    András Domahidy is a contemporary Hungarian-Australian, novelist and retired librarian. His novels are written in Hungarian. Born in Satu Mare, Romania, András Domahidy completed a PhD in Law at Budapest University and served in the Hungarian Army towards the close of World War II. In 1950 he came to Australia, settling in Perth and obtaining a BA at the University of Western Australia. Until his retirement in 1985 he was a senior librarian at the university.
